About
Croc Legend of the Gobbos is the heartwarming journey of an endearing, humble little crocodile equipped with only his iconic backpack and a wiggly butt as he platforms his way across a series of unique worlds by running, jumping, climbing, swimming and tail spinning on his quest to rescue his adopted family of Gobbos from the grasp of the evil sorcerer Baron Dante and his impish Dantini hordes.
With its broad appeal and groundbreaking creativity, the original game quickly became a multi-million selling platforming classic, and while the Croc Legend of the Gobbos remaster delivers an authentic gameplay experience that transports players back to the golden age of gaming, it also introduces a roster of modern updates including enhanced HD graphics, modern control mechanics with an updated camera, and retro video modes to recreate the gaming experience that charmed us in the 1990s.

Dive into a beautifully recreated world filled with vibrant colours, captivating landscapes, and playful challenges which will ignite your imagination. The Croc Legend of the Gobbos remaster offers an authentic blend of nostalgia and modern gameplay, ensuring a gaming experience that pays homage to the original while inviting a new generation to discover its timeless magic.
The game features 45 levels packed with enemies and bosses, spread across 5 different worlds including volcanoes, ice glaciers, underwater caves and even more...
With the cooperation of many of the original team members, Argonaut Games spent over a year tracking down a treasure trove of long-lost development materials in order to create a painstakingly curated digital museum featuring concept character and level designs, animation tests, game design documents, rare promotional merchandise, pre-release mixes of the iconic Croc soundtrack, and also created a series of documentary interviews with many of the contributors to Croc’s development.

The Crocipedia is the perfect way for superfans and game historians alike to take a deep dive into the creative process behind the game and uncover the stories that helped shape Croc's journey to become a gaming Legend.

I love this game. I'm thrilled to play it again, so much so I went out of my way to buy a controller. This game defiantly needs a controller, but it worth it.
Complimenti Argonaut, ottimo lavoro. Aspettiamo il 2 :)
This game/remaster of Croc legend of the gobbos here are Likes/Pros The controls for the game so responsive and a full 360-degree Analog stick and manual camera control fixes one of the much better than PS1 version. The visuals breathes new life into the beloved lizard and also features enhanced textures , much better lighting. The Crocopedia is the biggest highlight of the release this includes some design bibles, unreleased developer interview, Concept Art and various Soundtracks versions . Dislikes/Cons The boss fights in this game are so easy and are repetitive and have the same pattern which is attack and wait all the way to the end of the game + 100% ending. Wish there was a difficulty options like easy mode without the lives system and hard mode like the original game. Wish had the Gameboy Colour version as a 100% reward Hope we get a remaster of Croc 2 on Modern consoles and PC via steam

Que juegazo el Croc, aunque el remastered se quede corto en algunas cosas, como la mejora visual que es horrible, se puede jugar con los gráficos originales y los controles son muy buenos.
El mejor juego del mundo porque fue el primero para mi
A very good remaster. The controls are vastly improved over the original. A little bit of effort put into graphics and OST remaster as well. Time trial mode is fun, even if frustrating at times and sometimes very challenging.
No idea how I 100%ed this game as a kid
Toto je nejúžasnější a moje nejoblíbenější hra FOREVER!!! Moje dětství. Tento Remaster je opravdu moc povedený, a doufám, že vyjde i Remaster pro Croc 2! Moc moc doporučuji!
it's ok. not an impressive remake/remaster (not that Croc was impressive in the first place, if that makes sense) but serviceable and at least makes the game have some sensible controls. not too much to say here, it does feel like it should be a tad cheaper but on sale it encroaches "this more than fine" territory!
A beautifully made remaster with significantly improved controls over the PS1 original. The gameplay is buttery smooth, no load times, and plenty of customization options for graphics. There is no new major content (no new levels, no new bosses) but that is okay. I highly recommend it for any fans of classic PS1 games!
