Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Big fan of the first game, and this one expands on the mechanics pretty well. Co-op is fun and stable for the most part. I wish the physics were a little less erratic with bottles flying everywhere and doors snapping open and shut, but it's not too bad. I hope you guys start getting the player numbers you're looking for soon enough. Maybe Steam Frame release will help? BTW I asked Gaben and he said Steam Frame releases June 1st :O
очень крутая игра, нравится так же как и первая, но было бы классно, если бы копы не замечали вещи, которые не могут заметить (например спрятанные за ящиком, но не в нем), а то будто сквозь предметы смотрят
The TLDR of this review is that Prison Boss Prohibition (PBP) is one the best VR games that you can currently buy. And is a worthy successor to PBVR. PBP is mainly sold as a game on Meta Quest platform since its far more popular there however the PC version and Quest Version share much of the same features with the PC version not having mixed reality. But you are able to cross-play with Quest players which does help expand the pool of players that you can play with. Enough about talking about support for the Quest lets talk about the game itself. PBP took the gameplay of PBVR and just improved on it by expanding the amount of crafts on offer along with making the game one of the most re-playable VR games due to having a leaderboard and permanent progression unlocks via the leverage system which works by you talking customer orders and completely them to gain reputation that gets later converted into leverage which then can be spent on unlocks which can make either crafting easier or more efficient or give you more storage containers to play around with along with a bucket of cosmetic items and new skins with all of that being free. On the topic of monetisation PBP is one of the cheaper VR games out there which is great for those who like having a good deal. The base game offers a good amount of gameplay with 3 unique levels 7 factions and a good pool of cosmetics. This game offers four main kinds of DLC: Free packs, Clothing DLC, Skins and Full Level DLC. I love the idea of offering free cosmetics on a semi regular basis its a nice thing for players who don't buy cosmetic packs but who want to some extra things to customise their character. Clothing DLC and the skins are good and if you like a cosmetic pack then get it. Their extremely cheap, Good quality and are a nice extra for customizing yourself. Of course everyone wants the level DLC since they add whole new levels to the game. These are highly recommended if you want to play multiplayer since all players must own the DLC level you want to play. As a note on the games visuals its a strong stylized art style that is simple, clean and easy on the eyes. Its an Evolution of PBVR's style but just cleaned up and modernised with more experience. I do think that some levels need more detail like scrambleton for example needs a lot more background details in the far distance since it looks a bit awkward currently with the lack of trees beyond the train station. I get why the devs did this but I think for the PC version I do think that dedicated graphics options should be added with some levels being given extra details for those who play on PC or Quest 3 (If it can handle it). PBP is well optimised and is able to run on a wide range of systems even the Quest 2 gets to play this game which is great for those people. For PC the game only needs a GPU that is comparable to the requirements for job simulator which is great for those on low end machines. I don't need to give a score out of 10 since that's cliché at this point. All I need to say is that I recommend this game to any VR player New or Old.
having played this game for a while on both pc and oculus i will say its a very good game with a nice new game play loop to change up the format from the original game and my only real complaint is that i feel as if prison boss prohibition was a better name but the game its self i HIGHLY recommend.
