Cricket Management 26 has a lot of potential. It's great to see the developers actively working to fix bugs, improve the game, and listen to community feedback. That commitment gives me confidence in its future. What I enjoy most is the depth of the gameplay. Cricket has been missing a truly detailed management simulation for a long time, and this game is a big step in the right direction. While there are still some issues to iron out, the foundation is excellent. One feature I'd love to see in the future is an in-game player editor. It would make customization much easier and help the community create even better long term saves. Overall, this game has the potential to become the best cricket management simulator if the developers continue improving it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it grows.
Great game! It’s about time someone made a decent cricket management game! Also really good to see the devs active solving bugs and also acting on the community feedback!

Really enjoying this game . Dev is very active with bug issues .
Looks very cool, can definitely see myself sinking many hours into it! First issues I noticed - I couldn't sort on overall rating on some of the screens, and each player's attributes seemed to be within a small range, so there weren't any players with very good power but poor patience, or vice versa, which I suspect will limit the tactical nuances of the game.
too many bugs, when picking up line not ale to pick all players as the screen cuts lower half. Also next over button isnt working.
The 4th cricket game I've found on steam and perhaps this is the one that will beat them all. The big studio one (console & ps) just doesn't work very well on my pc. CC26 the industry old boy is so dated but has the best animations and another new one I have played recently is fun but lacking in the management side of things. This game I have clocked nearly 70 hours so far and I think I will clock so many more too. Yes there are some bugs but it's early access and the developer not only listens he implements changes as soon as he can. The editor has great potential when it is fully complete and live, giving players the option tweak names to make it more realistic etc,. Yep I'm very hooked on this one in particular. if there was a star rating out of 10 this would be a strong 8.5 at this point wheras comparing to the old guard game I'd now give a 4 and thats mainly the animations. I'll do a full gameplay review when the blips are ironed out. Keep going Chris, this has potential to be the best. Michael
Has great potential and very much gives the management sim feeling. It has all the feel of a FM game (which I have a long history with) so it feels very familiar, but with the cricket twist, which is great! Only two real areas of improvement for me (other than the crashes which is expected at this stage) - Fielding set up & player description in starting XI selection. I could be completely mis-reading the UI, but whenever I go to change the filed, it displays the field with the bowler at the bottom of the pitch and keeper at the top (which is normal) but when watching the game in lets call it 2D mode, the field is displayed from the view of the batsman on the bowler (i.e. how it is seen on the edit field option). This just makes understanding where the fielders need to be more difficult. Also, that edit field view, and the fielding positions do need further work/tuning. It just seems unclear where mid off, deep mid off and log off are (there is no option for a deep mid off for example). I assume all the field positions will eventually be named in later patches and by full release, and most cricket fans who buy this game in early access probably know what they all are, but it would just add to the realism to have those (rather than position 19). Starting XI selection: Its generally clear what the roles are for each player on the main squad screen and having the traits bubble (finisher etc.) is helpful, but these dont carry over when looking at the starting XI screen and so it makes picking the XI difficult. This is esp a problem when fake players are being used which will take time to learn their roles. It would be very helpful to have those labels come up in the starting XI screen selection as well to make it much clearer that this is my aggressive opener or my finisher for the middle order etc. Hopefully this is helpful and happy to talk further if you need more details/screenshots. That said, its a great start and can't wait to see how this develops!
Have a lot of potential but has a lot of bugs out of the box Indian Premier league is unplayable , literally the game stops in the 2nd half and makes no progress While batting during first half , score board says 4 wickets down but both the openers are not out and have posted record total. Devs , plz fix the bugs!!!
A buggy mess at the moment. Claims to have released a patch, yet the game won't update. Avoid. Refunded.
A few bugs but definitely the best cricket sim I have seen.
