Crazy Oddballs: Idle RPG attempts to sell itself as a funny, casual dark fantasy idle game focused on building a team of bizarre heroes and farming endless loot setups, but spending exactly 30 minutes inside is more than enough to see that this project is just absolute AI slop. The core experience is automated to such a severe fault that there is no actual video game left to play here.The application literally plays itself from the absolute second you log into the starter server. Your characters move on a complete rail grid, accept quests, attack monsters, and automatically close conversational text logs and tutorial boxes within three seconds, before you can even physically read what is happening on your monitor. Instead of an interactive experience, you are essentially forced to watch an aggressive idle movie where you have zero strategic intervention.The community's severe backlash is completely justified—the entire project feels specifically engineered to manipulate monetization schemes, hitting your client screen with aggressive microtransaction store popups and paid package prompts the moment you launch the window. Even though it only recently released out of Early Access, the developer is already aggressively pushing server merges, a textbook corporate strategy used to force high-spending active players into tighter competitive brackets so they continue paying real currency to stay at the top. While it keeps your Steam profile clean from unfinished tracker achievement checklists, this is an unplayable, predatory product. Avoid it completely.
