Covet Fashion: Dress Up Game

This game has tanked I used to use this game for real life fashion. I used to actually buy some of my clothes based on the real brands that were on this app. I bought the dress I wore to my daughter‘s wedding from address shown off this app. And even though my friends used to make fun of me with that, I used to show them clothes off of the app and they would also buy some of the clothes. Now the clothes are all fantasy clothes. Not only that, but the clothes are all ugly and it seems like a lot of the negative reviews have been taken down. I I’ve been playing this game since 2013 pretty much every day, but as soon as all of my money is gone I’m out. I expect this to take me quite a while because I hardly play anymore. What a shame!

Ai Centered App Now. This was probably one of the first games I ever played on a mobile device when I was a little girl. Now I’m 23, I’ve played it on and off for over 10 years and I always loved the unique clothes from all the different brands. Now everything is “Covet Collection” and it’s all just Ai clothes. I can even tell the new prompts use Ai photos and not real models anymore. I’m so disappointed and I will be deleting the app.

AI is ruining the game Long time player (10+ years). The game has taken a nose dive for the worst over the last year. Since losing the brands and everything is now Covet Basis there’s a serious lack of creativity and styles. Instead, there’s several items that are the exact same item but a slightly different color. Formal dresses used to be my favorite thing to use on my model but now the only options are an ugly patterned dress with a large slit up the thigh or a puffy dress with a thousand ruffles. I love the props, hairstyles, and makeup but those things arent enough to make the game enjoyable anymore when there’s a serious lack of creativity and a major uptick in reliance on AI for designing clothes. Also, there’s a need for new props because we’ve literally had the same flower bouquets for 5+ years. Covet you can do better and please do before I delete the game for good.

I like it It’s really good but for weeks a bit ago the seem thing happened I just could not get in to it but they made up for it by giving me 1,000 covet cash

Used to be amazing It’s so sad because this game used to be so awesome!! I’m still having a hard time giving it up even tho the developers are completely phoning it in. lately they have begun making their own clothes (instead of using fashion designers) and they’re just making the exact same thing in 10 colors. Not to mention some of the outfits are completely gaudy and ugly. I did like that they made some challenges that didn’t require a season so we could use up some of the unused clothes but they also have 1-3 special events in a week. It’s one thing to drop .99 cents a couple times a week but $7.99?? NO! I’m just not going to spend money on a game where the developers don’t care to make it better. Lately there have been several crashes or glitches and one kept us out of the game for over a week but we came back to 1000 diamonds?!?! Like that buys very little in this game. And I can speak from experience because I have spent an embarrassing amount of money playing this game but I always justified it because it was enjoyable to me —my guilty pleasure —but now, what’s the point??? I have played this game for AGES—it’s been at least 7 yrs which is crazy for a game—I usually get bored. I know it’s time to let go, but it’s been in my life for so long. 😭

Good and bad It’s fun but the voting is unfair. I just played 6 games using the very few outfits they chose and still lost the vote. I looked at the top results and they all looked exactly like mine. They are clearly voting people badly so they spend money on this game.

Bring back the old Covet I used to absolutely love Covet Fashion. I played daily for years because it felt creative, exciting, and authentic. But over time — especially after Electronic Arts (EA) acquired the game — it has changed dramatically, and not for the better. One of the biggest disappointments is the removal of many real designer brands. That was part of what made the game special and realistic. Now we’re left with mostly “Covet Basics,” which are often overpriced and not nearly as stylish or exciting. The rewards system has also become frustrating. Most prizes are just cash, which makes challenges feel repetitive and less rewarding. There’s very little excitement anymore when opening prizes. On top of that, there are frequent issues when purchasing passes or packs, and customer support can take hours (sometimes longer) to respond. For a game that pushes in-app purchases so heavily, that’s disappointing. New levels also recycle makeup and hairstyles instead of introducing fresh content. It makes leveling up feel underwhelming and repetitive instead of exciting. It feels like the focus has shifted from creativity and fun to monetization. I truly miss the old Covet — it had charm, variety, and authenticity. I hope the developers listen to longtime players and bring back what made this game special.

From real designer to ai Greedy transition. The game use to have real designer clothes- now this company is using ai designed clothes that are just awful.

Hate the direction As other people have said, the direction this game is going in is very unfortunate. You used to be able to enter a good amount of challenges (the requirements weren’t always super specific), making it harder to gain diamonds or cash which makes it harder to enter future challenges. It also made it easier to be more individualistic and utilize personal style & creativity more. Now the perimeters are so specific the whole look is basically laid out for you, it requires little skill and more money. All the looks end up looking similar and it’s boring. They also used to use real life brands and labels, which is fun because you could actually buy the outfits that you created. Now they use their own digital creations, which you can tell certain pieces were created for the challenges. Again, taking away the creativity factor because everything is spoon fed. For now I deleted covet, id love to redownload in the future if they made positive changes.

Awful money grab I played this game years ago and it just used to be a chill fashion game. Now it’s just a money grab. You have to buy all these silly over the top prop packs to get high enough votes to win just the pretty lame 4.0 prizes. If you want to score any higher, you will have to buy prop packs to get the votes that win the better prizes. Props ruined a good game and I am definitely going to delete it again. Also the game does not reward nearly enough money or diamonds to even really complete a look or enter multiple challenges. The cost of every item is astronomical. Thinking of borrowing? You can only borrow one item and it takes several hours before you can borrow again. Garbage. And the fact that the game is silent is weird. Add ambient music and sound effects to engage players better.
