About
COSMOS — A light and sound journey into the universe.
Follow Nora Voss, a young scientist sent towards the planet Venus. You'll piece together a story that was never meant to be told, moving from the quiet and massive control room to the silence of deep space.
A VR exploration and puzzle experience built for presence: three-dimensional spatial audio, and a slow-burn atmosphere that rewards paying close attention, it has interactive puzzle and choices to make during the story.
The heart of the experience is a narrative audio story made with real talented voice actors, both in English and French. It brings an emotional side to this story.

Solve puzzles with your hands, not menus Every puzzle is physical. Rewire consoles, slot modules into place, and assemble a floating cube of alien symbols by hand, piecing together a message never meant for human eyes.
High-quality voice acting (English and French)
Highly optimized, with high frame rates and comfort.
Focused on quality writing and story.
Beautiful visual puzzles and manipulating objects in VR

Listen closely
COSMOS uses full 3D spatial audio, so where a sound comes from matters as much as what it says. Put on headphones (or your headset's built-in audio) in order to be immersed completely.
Built for comfort
Play seated or standing: it's a relaxing experience with adjustable height calibration, and an accessible voice volume control. COSMOS is built to be played by as many people as possible, not just VR veterans.
Experienced on the Meta Quest 3
You can view my full walkthrough here: https://youtu.be/PoqSkPBC1QI COSMOS VR is a budget space walking simulator. It's narrative driven and it only has a few puzzles. It actually has pretty high production values for the price. The visuals & VOs are very nice. However, the puzzles are clunky at best and the game is pretty short. It took me less than an hour to complete the game. Now, admittedly, there's little walking in this game. In fact, most of the game is on-rails & narrative-driven. It has a nice story though. A sci-fi mystery adventure. My main problem is that the scene near the end is too dark and I could barely see. Also, several of the interactions are clunky. The puzzles are mediocre at best, maybe too frustrating for some. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 5090, I was getting a steady 72 fps (my target FPS nowadays is back to 72 fps). You have full locomotion and smooth and snap turning available. You can play comfortably seated. The only bug I encountered was on the last puzzle some of the pieces of the satellite would fly off and they would be difficult to get back. Rate 6/10.
I bought this game!
Not for me. Your first task is to enter a code, and the paper on the desk in front of you literally reads, "Clue for code." And then you just enter those numbers. But what I played of it was basically an audio drama playing while you stare at animated objects. Three out of the four scenes I played you are locked in place and do not move. The one scene that I could move I only walked twenty feet or so. Refunded after 10 min. It's probably a sit-and-watch game, but I'm not in the mood.
