Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
More than ten years of development have shaped Coromon into a complete 30+ hour monster-taming RPG. Catch and train more than 120 Coromon, master strategic battles, and explore a handcrafted world packed with memorable places and details to discover.
Coromon Remastered optimizes the entire journey for PC, with a presentation designed for larger screens. Clearer menus and battle details make everything easier to understand at a glance, while mouse-hover information and quick battle actions make every interaction faster and more natural.
Your first day as a Battle Researcher for Lux Solis should've been straightforward, receive your first Coromon and begin investigating Velua’s six Titans. But when outsiders wielding an element unknown to science attack a laboratory, your assignment becomes something far more dangerous.
Travel through six distinct biomes, each with its own challenges and mysteries. Begin among the fields around Hayville, then journey to a thunderous city, through a haunted swamp, into a guarded desert palace, beneath a volcano, and across frozen mountains toward ancient ruins.
Between your main objectives, meet the people who call Velua home, help solve their problems, and leave the path for side quests, secrets, and minigames. Upgrade your Gauntlet to open blocked routes and reveal hidden items, then take to the water as even more of the world opens around you.
More than raw power! Build your Squad around Skills, Traits, and held items. Then adapt to entry hazards, weather, and status effects to outsmart any opponent you meet, whether it's a wild Coromon, rival Battle Researchers, or a mighty Titan.
Master a stamina-based battle system where every Skill costs energy. Spend too much and your Coromon will need to rest, giving its opponent an opening.
Hunt for rare Potent and Perfect Coromon. Their distinctive colors make them stand out, and they can earn additional bonus stat points which you can distribute yourself.
Evolve a Coromon for higher base stats, or keep it unevolved and enhance its Trait with additional or stronger effects.
As you track down each Titan, the scope of your mission grows. Every region brings a new crisis, an unexpected discovery, and another clue to the outsiders’ plans. Cross paths with new allies, survive dangerous expeditions, and venture into places no Battle Researcher was ever meant to reach.
As the pieces connect, you uncover a power capable of changing Velua’s natural order. And by the end of your journey, only one question matters: who, or what, is really in control?
Coromon lets you shape the adventure around the way you want to play.
Looking for a relaxed playthrough? Make shops and recovery more forgiving, or reduce the pressure of battle and focus on exploring Velua, building your squad and following the story.
Looking for higher stakes? Combine built-in Randomizer settings with configurable difficulty rules to change encounters, trainers, Skills, Traits, items, evolutions and even the order of the Titans.
Create the Battle Researcher you want to be with a wide selection of outfits, hairstyles, facial hair, headgear and colors.
Give your Coromon new looks with unlockable Skins earned through collecting, battles, side quests, minigames and other gameplay challenges.
Continue beyond the story in the endless Battle Dome, where Coromon Rush, Trainer Rush and Titan Rush challenge you to see how far your squad can go. Test your strategies against other players in ranked, casual or custom 3v3 and 6v6 battles.
We’re an independent studio that started with a big dream: to create the ultimate retro monster-taming adventure we always wanted to play, with the care and quality-of-life features we value in modern games.
We believe in handcrafted worlds, memorable places and thoughtful details. That philosophy shaped Coromon, brought Coromon Remastered to life, and continues to guide us as we build Coromon: Rogue Planet. We’re incredibly proud of how far that original dream has taken us, and grateful to everyone joining us on the journey.

Reviews
The game has serious memory leak issues, lagging the entire PC after 20-30 min of playing until it is restarted. Since the devs are unwilling to fix this, I cannot recommend the game at all. I will refund. None of the recommended "fixes" have worked, including power management and beta branch. It's a pity since the game itself is alright, just unplayable. If you are here because the game's on discount, be my guest and try it out. If you encounter insane lag, do not hesistate to refund.
My game keeps freezing and crashing with this newest "remastered" update. I came back to this game excited to play the "remastered" and im unable to play. Its very frustrating.. Time to put this game BACK on the shelf until they figure out whats wrong

I was going to write a mostly positive review until I encountered a mandatory (I think) fast-paced narrow timing-based button-pushing minigame at the end of the game, the jumping thing in the dojo. Its like having a mandatory game of chess in the middle of a Mario game. Having the flappybird and jumper game as achievements is a douchebag move but putting it in the questline at the end of the game is just a straight up dealbreaker. Such a thing is either a core-mechanic of your game, novelty side-content, or you make it incredibly easy. You either didnt have any general-public testing or you ignored all the feedback. Not great but tolerable: Puzzle mechanics are way too drawn out to the point of becoming chores e.g. the ghost-cat thing where half of it would be plenty. There are obviously a bit too few monsters. The potential-mechanic incentivize mindless grinding to get an adequatly strong version which feels like a semi-mandatory shiny-grind for every monster you actually want to use. Awesome: All the rest, especially the pixelart. A shame that this game is held back by annoying content, most of which could simply be cut from the game in an aftertoons work.
Can't beat the game because of a minigame. Never mind Coromon battles, catching mechanics, or anything else that is advertised to make you buy the game, this is literally a gauntlet of painful minigames that don't work and you will either slam your head into a wall until you get lucky or, like me, just give up because I don't want to play a cocaine-fueled version of the Mario Party jumprope minigame in my Pokemon clone.
I really wish they'd given us the option out the gate to update or not. The overhaul/"remaster" is not to my liking in any way. I didn't pay for this remaster, I paid for the old experience. It lags something fierce. I should not need to minimize/reduce fullscreen to play the game that ran OK previously... I also prefer a silent protagonist that doesn't really respond, but that's a personal preference. It feels like they added more text? I just quit and uninstalled as soon as I jumped in to peek at the new update. Simpler is sometimes better. I DO appreciate accessibility features, that's ALWAYS important. But as it stands it is a schlog, over-developed and following Sun Haven levels of store bloat. I never enjoy secondary currency for in-game stores even if you can earn that in-game currency (right now its rate is too low to be worthwhile). You can disagree! But I cannot recommend it in its current state. I think devs really need to consider OPTIONAL updates. Especially in this economy when most people cannot afford newer consoles, can't upgrade, or how easily PC games can break because the software and hardware differs from machine to machine. If we can roll back updates as a baseline we can figure out and address what's wrong individually or submit for review for better fixes.
Unplayable atm. The remaster reintroduced an old bug for me which binds every button on my controller to every in game command. So one button is use and back simultaneously. Bc of this i can't reconfigure the bindings ingame as well. I use a Dualshock 4 which never had a problem in any other game.
I like this game enough to give it a positive review, but I will add to the pile of complaints about the puzzles and minigames. I've done a playthrough and a half and every time I run into a puzzle or minigame, i just feel like the game gets worse. even just including an option to skip them if you fail enough times in a row would solve everything for the dumb or older people like us. with that said, i do like almost everything else about it. decent qol, sans the ability to reorder moves. nice designs. moves make enough sense once you get out of the pokemon headspace. plot is fine, but not really what any of us play these games for. overall, absolutely recommended. hoping they fix the puzzle/minigame stuff in the sequel and port it here like they did for the remastered graphics. the devs clearly do care about their game, so i'm hoping they also care about player experience.
Pokemon, but somehow worse.
I reluctantly started a play-through, cause I was stuck with a crappy laptop for a fortnight. And, I'm glad I did. I think Coromon makes a valiant effort to address the shortcomings of a (very popular...) existing monster catcher... And, I enjoyed it. Notably, I like the Potential system that allows for better 'roleplay' of monsters, I like the SP system that manages monster moves and usage, I like the status conditions (they feel fair) and I like the moves system that allows you to infinitely choose a monster's move set on the fly. The game has many crashing and bug problems though, graphical glitches that require a restart and several cases where my save state didn't save correctly. These were probably the worst of my problems. Additionally, I feel the game needs to withhold content from the Player. Pretty much every Coromon (at all evolutions) is catchable, which cheapens the feeling of having your own monsters when you can just catch them later. This goes the same for items. I also feel it's missing some grounded sense of reality. It pretty much launches the player straight into a crazy world. And, I feel it misses the oppurtunity to introduce the player to the world. It lacks breathability. In the same sense, the story is incredibly bland, the map is strikingly linear and player choice is limited outside of your Coromon. Last thing... I think Coromon could benefit from a new game plus, where players can choose from their caught Coromon to start a new game. I would love to use my 'potent'/'perfect' or just late-game coromon from lv.1 at the start of the game. You could up the 'normal' difficulty of trainers and allow players to keep their items, new oppurtunities abound. With these criticisms... Buy this game on sale, no less than 50% off!
