Copa City: Matchday Manager

Copa City has always intrigued me because of its unique concept, which is why I’ve been closely following both the game itself and the developers’ progress over the past few weeks. I decided to write this review after taking a close look at the current state of the gameplay. After the latest updates, the biggest improvements are noticeable in: -saving and loading the game, -module activation after loading a save, -generator functionality, -range visibility, -campaign mission flow, -interface clarity and building panels. A football game that is well designed. It really captures the atmosphere of organizing a match. The game offers a wide range of mechanics and, above all, feels realistic. During gameplay, many random events can occur, making the experience even more immersive. You need to react quickly and make good decisions (during gameplay and these situations you can decide, for example, whether to lower ticket prices for certain groups of fans or keep the current prices, but every choice has its own consequences). On the plus side: +realism +the atmosphere created by the fans +the stadium and managing it, the fan zones, and the supporters +soundtrack (it fits the gameplay really well) On the downside: -there used to be quite a few bugs -the game is quite complex and has many features, so it took me a little while to understand everything After the updates, Copa City leaves a much better impression than before. It feels more stable and much clearer. In my opinion, the game is heading in the right direction. It can still be challenging and sometimes stressful, but now that stress comes mainly from the gameplay itself rather than technical issues. And that’s the biggest difference. A big plus also goes to the improvements made to the missions. The scenario objectives now feel more logical, and the game is much less likely to give the impression that something starts too early or doesn’t work the way it should. As a result, progressing through the campaign feels smoother and much more enjoyable.

Weer eens wat anders dan voetbalmanager, wat een uitdaging en wat komt er veel bij kijken om een wedstrijd te organiseren, veel diepgang en veel dingen die op je afkomen, zoals veiligheid, eten, steward, fun, stadsdelen indelen en inrichten naar behoefte van de fans. Hopelijk komt er ook iets bij in de toekomst met hooligans, opstootjes en dat soort punten, gewoon alles. Hopelijk komen er meer locaties bij maar ik ben zeker onder de indruk van dit spel. Ik raad hem aan, hopelijk komt er een sandbox mode zoals een city builder deel dat zou helemaal gaaf zijn met een eigen stadium en terrein ontwikkeling.

Ogólnie polecam. Gierka bardziej do poklikania wieczorem przy piwie niż do faktycznego grindu. Tutorial spoko, jedynie chłop co gada jest irytujący. W większości bardzo intuicyjna. Grafika bardzo dobra jak na ten typ gier. Jakbym miał to jakoś określić to taki ETS dla ludzi zainteresowanych piłką ;)

Been playing Copa City for a while now and this latest patch has really taken the experience to the next level. The gameplay feels noticeably smoother, no more stutters or frame drops during the busier moments, everything just flows now. Big shoutout to the Chairman Pass as well. It's packed with solid rewards and actually feels worth grinding for, unlike a lot of battle passes in other games that feel like a chore. The progression is well paced and keeps you coming back. Overall this update shows the devs are really listening to the community and improving the game where it matters most performance and content value. Highly recommend if you haven't tried it yet!
