About
The referee blows the whistle in exactly two weeks. Tens of thousands of fans are about to flood the city, and they don’t care about logistics - but you have to.
Here is what your to-do list looks like before the players even step off the bus:
Open the world map and launch your marketing campaigns. You need to build demand and actually get the fans to the host city.
Hire Specialists to manage the infrastructure and local volunteers to keep the crowds moving on the ground.
Unlock the stadium. Analyze what the incoming fan groups expect, set your ticket prices, and start generating the cash you need to fund the citywide build.
Transform empty streets into fully functioning Fanzones. Snap food trucks, merchandise stands, and toilets into the city's empty lots. Meeting fan needs is the only way to drive up your Match Readiness (MR) points.
50,000 passionate fans take up a lot of space. Zone the city carefully and manage the transit network so rival fan groups don’t cross paths and paralyze the streets.
Secure high-paying sponsors and place their banners around the stadium to fund your operation. Then, get the arena ready - from the condition of the pitch to the team locker rooms.
Map the final routes to the gates and watch the payoff. See the time-lapse of your infrastructure handling the massive crowd as the streets fill with club colors, flares, and chants.
The players are ready. The fans are arriving. Is your city prepared?
Take on unique logistical challenges, distinct city topographies, and fanbases with completely different temperaments:
3 Iconic Host Cities: Berlin (Olympiastadion), Rio de Janeiro (Maracanã), and Warsaw (PGE Narodowy).
6 Licensed Football Clubs: Arsenal FC, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Flamengo, Beşiktaş, and Olympique de Marseille
Campaign Mode: Story-driven scenarios with unique objectives.
Single Match: Custom high-stakes matchday setup.
Chairman Pass (Sandbox): Unlimited budget and complete freedom.

This game caught me off guard in the best way! I expected a pretty simple management game, but it ended up being one of those games where you “just want to do one more”. What surprised me the most was the depth of the gameplay mechanics! There are diffferent layers to this game and it really gets more interesting with time. Figuring out how to make everything work together is super satisfying. Tbh the idea for the game and the whole concept is just new and refreshing. Managing everything around a football match instead of the match itself is something I have not really seen before - a big plus for me, I usually play the clones of wha I already know. The atmosphere is great, the cities look FANTASTIC (the visuals in general are quite impressive for a tycoon game!). Love that the devs added a sandbox mode (which I usually prefer) and that they are patching the game constantly - nice to see that they genuinely care. The negatives are pretty minor. Some notifications could be a little clearer, some dialogues are too long and I would like to see a bit more "freedom" in arranging the fan zones (I'm a builder at heart). Also ultrawide support seems a bit inconsistent. Sometimes the game scales perfectly, and other times it does not seem to recognize the aspect ratio correctly. I only had one crash and it happened after I was messing with the resolution, so I might have caused that myself. Overall, loved this game, especially for the "unique" factor and the mechanics - I do love optimizing things ;) The game feels polished, fun, and has more depth than it first appears. If the developers keep building on what is already here, I can easily see myself coming back for many more hours. Totally recommend if you are a fan of tycoons (with a twist in this case)

The idea of managing the whole city around a football match instead of the team itself is really fresh and honestly pretty addicting. Building fan zones, dealing with crowds and getting everything ready before kickoff is way more fun than I expected. The graphics and art style also look really nice and give the game a lot of charm. There are a few things to be polished (urgent!), but if you like management games, this is absolutely worth your time. If you are a football-head like I am its a must have game (Go Gunners go!!!!).
I've been really enjoying Copa City so far. The game offers a fresh and unique concept by letting you manage everything around a major football event instead of playing the match itself. Building the atmosphere, organizing the city, and keeping fans happy makes for an engaging and rewarding experience. The graphics are clean, the interface is easy to understand, and the gameplay has a nice balance between strategy and creativity. Every decision feels meaningful, and it's satisfying to see the city come to life as your plans succeed. Overall, Copa City is a fun and original management game that stands out from other football titles. If you enjoy city-building, strategy games, or football culture, it's definitely worth checking out. I highly recommend it!
My campaign is bugged on the 2nd tutorial mission where you need to destroy any item that you've placed. Well, the game will not destroy anything at all. no matter how many times i reload the game and click the demolish button, it does nothing. and i literally can not progress because of it. Capitalism tag is befitting for this game. Devs rushed it out knowing it was not ready, but they needed that money.
Copa City is a really refreshing take on the management genre. Instead of building a team or playing football matches, you're responsible for organizing everything around the event and making sure the city is ready for thousands of fans. It’s a concept I hadn’t seen before, and it works surprisingly well. The gameplay is easy to understand but offers enough depth to keep you thinking. Every decision matters, from placing attractions and services to managing logistics and keeping visitors happy. It’s satisfying to see the city transform into a lively matchday destination. The visuals are polished, the atmosphere captures the excitement of a big football event, and the soundtrack fits the experience perfectly. I also appreciate the attention to detail—small touches throughout the city make it feel alive rather than just another management simulator. What I enjoyed the most is that the game offers a completely different perspective on football. Most football games are about what happens on the pitch, while Copa City focuses on everything that makes a matchday special outside the stadium. Whether you're a fan of football games or simply enjoy strategy and management titles, this is a unique experience that stands out from the usual sports game formula. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for a management game with an original idea and plenty of charm.
Copa City pleasantly surprised me. At a time when many games rely on familiar formulas, the developers decided to try something different - instead of managing a club or playing matches, we focus on everything surrounding a major football event. Organizing the city, preparing the infrastructure, and taking care of the fans' experience is a really interesting direction that helps the game stand out from other tycoon titles. I really like the atmosphere of the game. The cities and stadiums look great, and details such as the National Stadium are a very nice addition, especially for Polish players. It is satisfying to see how our decisions affect the development of the event and how everything gradually comes together as a bigger experience. Of course, the game still has some issues. Some mechanics could be explained better - even after completing the tutorial, I sometimes found myself unsure how to complete certain tasks or why specific systems worked the way they did. The interface also needs some improvements, and with such an interesting concept, I would love to see more customization options and greater freedom when creating fan zones. Despite these issues, it is clear that Copa City has a strong identity and solid foundations for further development. A big plus for the developers for actively supporting the game and releasing patches that continue to improve the experience. I believe the project is in good hands and can become even better over time. Definitely worth checking out and forming your own opinion.
One of the best football management games focused on organizing match days, fan zones, supporters and stadium operations. I really like the visual presentation. At first glance the game looks fairly simple, but once you start playing you realize it has a lot of depth and can be surprisingly challenging. I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys football management games. I didn’t expect it to be this engaging, but it pleasantly surprised me. I’m also curious to see how the gameplay differs in the other cities, because from what I’ve seen each one has been designed differently. I assume that means every location offers a slightly different gameplay experience as well. I also noticed that the game has official licenses for these clubs: Bayern Munchen Arsenal Clube de Regatas do Flamengo Borussia Dortmund Besiktas Olympique de Marseille
I bought this game during the World Cup to stay in the football spirit. The title is highly complex, features a lot of mechanics and things to manage, and requires analytical thinking as well as adapting to changing situations. So, if you enjoy games with plenty of stats and micro-management, I highly recommend it – it's a really solid game. I also haven't encountered any technical bugs or glitches.
