CONTRAST is a puzzle/platform game where you can move between a fantastic 3D world and a mysterious shadowy universe in 2D in the blink of an eye. Delve into a dreamlike and surreal 1920s world, inspired by the performance art world of vaudeville and film noir, and cradled by a smooth and sultry jazz ambiance.

After more that one person asking me to play this I finally did and they were right I absolutely loved it. Despite some short comings I geninuely love what Compulsion Games comes out with and this is no exception. Gameplay, design and story all are very interesting and full of whimsy. Reminds me of why I love games and seeing devs trying different things. If you haven't played any of their titles definately try this out first.
Неймовірна музика, гарна картинка і атмосфера, що не старіє, але історія трошки не дотягнула. Якби більше драми в кінці, то було б 10 з 10, а так тверда 7. Дуже сподобалась гра з тінями, це було дуже цікаво.

loved the vibe, reminds me of coraline
I truly believe this game is a masterpiece. The story is incredibly easy to understand, and the gameplay remains engaging throughout. It offers a unique and memorable experience. Somehow, the graphics haven't aged badly, which is rare for games of this era. I truly believe this is the kind of experience everyone should have at least once. I can definitely recommend this game.
It's a little frustrating sometimes it lags and you have to do everything again from last save. But otherwise it's very cute and the atmosphere is great. The story is very engaging. Would reccomend if you like sth relaxing.
Очень ламповая и приятная игра с прекрасным музыкальным сопровождением и очаровательной мелкой пупыркой, с которой вы решаете различные головоломки. Кайфули
Contrast is a short, but sweet game that takes you through the story of a broken family trying to get put back together by the very cause of its demise. While its gameplay is admittedly pretty janky at times, the novelty of its innovation is still fun to engage with, and it's all wrapped up in an elegant and lovingly crafted atmosphere that's nice to be a part of.
Playing Contrast was decent experience overall. The art style is really unique, and the gameplay mechanics are interesting, blending shadows and light in clever ways. While it didn't completely blow me away, it was an enjoyable way to spend a few hours.
A very short puzzle-platformer with an interesting mechanic using light and shadows to get around. I picked this up on a sale being drawn to its very eye-catchy art style and visuals and I enjoyed with my time playing it. Although, anyone should be aware this is an oldie by now, and it shows with it's janky controls. I would assume the game also needed some polishing too (story-wise and gameplay), but nothing that I didn't mind too much. The atmosphere really has that early 2010s games feel (a tiny bit of Limbo homage? maybe?) and hit a bit of a nostalgic cord with me, so I would say it was worth my time for the low price that I got it.
Literally one of the best games I've ever played. The storyline is amazing, and the puzzle aspect is unique. I feel that this is a very underrated game and should gain more attention. It's very quick to complete, but it's also a little buggy sometimes.
