This game's graphics are amazing, the gameplay is fun, and the music is amazing. BUT, I have a problem with the controls. During the beginning stage/tutorial (if you can even call it that) doesn't tell you how to do anything, I had to pause the game multiple times to check the keybinds to see what the controls were, not sue if this is a gameplay gimmick but it's annoying. Also pls make jump and confirm their own separate controls, I changed jump to the up arrow and now confirm was the jump arrow and it gets annoying at times. But other than that this game is fabulous, 8/10

Contract Rush DX might just be the most underrated game I've ever played. The little amount of reviews on Steam really doesn't do this gem justice. It's a really well crafted piece of art that just OOZES with passion and feels like a fully-fledged Newgrounds classic. The thing that initially hooked me was definitely the beautiful hand drawn artstyle of the game. It's very cartoony and allows for some fun animations and character expression (looking at you, James Jimmy). What I love about it is that even if it's cartoony, there is some blood from time to time and it's weirdly fluid and satisfying, perfectly fitting with the game. The gameplay can seem to be very basic at first until the game encourages you to use every character's kit to it's full capabilities with it's fun and challenging sub-contracts. Said characters have really unique and well balanced kits that fit the game SO WELL it's crazy how equally good they all feel. The characters in Contract Rush DX are very charming and the only gripe that I have is that I wish I could spend more time talking to them all. What's also important to mention is how gorgeous the level design is. Not only their gameplay, but also the unique graphical designs of all the levels makes them all stand out, as every level has something special to it. One is a haunted mansion, one a big Jimmy Fallon parody and there is even one that puts you inside of a computer with vocaloid music playing in the background. Speaking of music, this game's soundtrack is an absolute BANGER. Every single track is a joy to listen to, seriously, I can't get enough of it !!! The bosses, which could honestly be considered the main course, are definitely what's my favorite thing about this game. Each one is unique in it's own way. Either having a charming personality, cool and interesting attacks or a unique way to fight them. Every time I fought one of them I couldn't NOT have a smile on my face because of how fun they were ! I really wish more people got to experience this game. It feels like it flew under the radar and deserves much more recognition than it currently has. Hopefully it gains more popularity in the future, perhaps with the release of the developers' future games. I'll make sure to recommend this underrated piece of art to a bunch of people so they can have the same wonderful experience as I did.

This Game's Artstyle and gameplay loop are both very Enjoyable for me. All the locations have a lot of personality, Though that could be just me! It also runs fantastically on my regular pc.

2d shoot 'em up/platformer with good controls and that cute but styled flash game aesthetic (which make sense as the original was from Newgrounds). Combined with some interesting lore and comical moments, this is a hidden gem of a game.
