About

Conjurers is a classic turn-based tactics game where the Zodiac itself becomes your army.
Eight rival Conjurers, each bound to distinct creature types, wage war for control of the Zodiac. Defeat a Conjurer, and their constellation is claimed, its creatures torn from their command and added to your growing deck, along with powerful hybrids born of your own design.
With every victory, your Zodiac of cards and creatures expands, and your dominion over the battlefield grows. Only one Conjurer can claim the Zodiac whole and rise to challenge the Immortal Aquarius.
Engage in classic turn-based, tactical combat where positioning, timing, and terrain decide the outcome of every battle. Terrain is an active part of combat, affecting the power, movement, and utility of all creatures. High ground, hazards, and battlefield layout force players to adapt their tactics to each area and contest positional advantages held by rival Conjurers.
Each rival Conjurer commands a constellation of creatures. Defeat them, and that constellation becomes yours, permanently expanding your available Zodiac and opening new strategic possibilities in future battles. Every conquest adds new creatures to your deck, reshaping how you approach combat and pushing you closer to uniting the Zodiac.
Unite the full Zodiac of 60 animated creatures and hybrids, drawn from eight distinct creature types: Humans, Prowlers, Hoofed Beasts, Winged Beasts, Lizards, Serpents, and Polypods. Each type brings distinct strengths to the battlefield, encouraging varied tactics and long-term mastery. Your creatures persist across battles, gaining experience and leveling up as they fight.
Combine creature types to create powerful hybrids that blend strengths and unlock new tactical roles. A Hoofed-Human becomes a Minotaur, a Polypod-Prowler forms a Manticore, and a Winged-Lizard gives rise to a Dragon, with many more combinations waiting to be discovered.
A guided tutorial and in-game tooltips teach the rules in about 10 minutes, making Conjurers easy to pick up while rewarding deep tactical mastery. Test your skills in three intense boss battles designed to punish poor positioning and careless deckbuilding as you learn to master the Zodiac.

It's a unique tactical RPG/deck builder hybrid with monster-collector elements mixed in. You pick a faction leader and start with a cohesive stable of themed troops and spells, and gain the ability to merge them into various hybrids. (for example you can mix a humanoid type and a hoofed type into a minotaur) As you defeat and take control of other elements/creature groups (Zodiacs) it unlocks different units and increasingly powerful spells to put into your deck. The game mixes colorful sprites with sketchbook-style bestiary entries and short story scenes, giving an element of implicit worldbuilding rather than in-depth storytelling. The world itself blends elements of RPG fantasy with mythology in a cohesive way, where magical fusion is responsible for demi-humans and mythological creatures. It's set in a wild era rather than an age dominated by humans. The gameplay is open-ended and forgiving, with the ability to grind and sideboard your deck constantly, and the pacing is player-controlled. There are many different ways to optimize your deck, but managing your combat resources properly is vital. The AI seems to play fair, which does limit the overall difficulty somewhat. There's some nice retro midi music and the game actually works well with a gamepad. Light-weight application and decently polished for a solo indie game with a unique charm. Overall, I consider it to be Good.

Conjurers is a game that rewards patience and creativity, blending card game mechanics with classic turn-based strategy. From the graphics and music to the terrain-mechanics and monster-combinations, the game is fun and straightforward, but also offers a challenging and rewarding experience to anyone attempting to beat the game or get all of the unique monster combinations. May Crater be with you!
Incredibly deep strategic gameplay with extremely charming art and music. I highly recommend reading the creature descriptions! Definitely going to sink a ton of time into this one.
Lacks a lot of tooltips and just generally feels clunky. Love games like nephilim saga, FE, vesteria saga ect ect, - this has that similar feel but maybe I don't buy into the premise or couldn't overlook how the game felt. Bought on sale and still didn't feel it was worth.
