I don't write reviews. I'm writing this one because I need someone else to experience what this game did to me. You never see the world. That's the pitch. You're an operator jacked into the interface of an arctic station where everyone is blind — you get a HUD, a compass, an encrypted chat window, a memo log, and that's it. No jumpscares, no monster models, no flashlight with dying batteries. Just you, the terminal, and the slowly growing certainty that the interface is lying to you. And it IS lying to you. The compass drifts. Messages decode wrong when you're scared. Your own hands shake in the text. This game reads how YOU play — how you move, what you obsess over, how long you stare at things — and it uses that against you. I have never felt watched by a game like this. Not "the character is watched." ME. The chat system alone is worth the price. ~70% of the story comes through encrypted messages you answer BLIND — you send cipher back without knowing what you just said. It sounds insane. It works. By hour three I was decoding message rhythms like my life depended on it, because in a way it did. Things I refuse to spoil: - what happens at 3:33 (it's always 3:33) - the achievements. Check your achievements. Then check them again. - the last 20 minutes. I sat in silence after the credits. It's text, static, and interface horror on a modern station full of blind people who navigate their home better than you ever will with your precious "vision." It's like Iron Lung, SIGNALIS and a haunted terminal emulator had a child and raised it on Cold War radio broadcasts. $13. Shorter than your backlog games, denser than all of them. Go in blind.
