I have been playing this game nonstop for the last 5 hours. This is a fantastic rogue lite. Very fun systems that interact with each other so satisfyingly. Very much a game that you play either in one long session of just grinding it out, seeing what combo strategys you find, or returning to it for a session when the library looks too big and nothing jumps out at you. The complexity of the different interacting categories of factions also ramp up very fast. It's truly a delight. Thoroughly recommended

Really enjoyable. I want some more guilds though. Been playing on steam deck. Trackpad is mvp. Some text can be small but otherwise works great.
Reminds me of finding a game as a kid and puzzling the day away. Brain off, number go up, dopamine rising.
Nice, balatro-vibe game, looks ez but it isn't. Please add different songs, one is definitely not enough...
Very fun game. Every faction combination feels like it has a lot of hidden synergies to discover, and the chaining effects you can get with some combos are a sight to behold. My only complaints are: 1. Too easy on the highest difficulties. I have played 20 hours so far and haven't lost a run yet. Some runs didn't feel very powerful, but still didn't have an issue hitting the 40k points required on the last round. Scaling towards 50k might help it feel like there's more of a razor's edge. The hazards are also wildly different in how impactful they are, and most of the time they spawn far enough away that they don't feel like they matter at all. 2. I wish there was a miniscule chance to get rarer buildings earlier. Every run follows a predictable curve of 2-3 milestones of common buildings, 2-3 milestones of synergy buildings, with maybe a handful of uncommons and rares. Then you get to the last few milestones, and unless you prepared for the specific rare or masterwork that you roll, it's very hard to fit their powerful effects into your town. If the last milestone scores scaled faster, maybe it would push us to plan for those effects more? I think there's also a bug that occurs because you can't roll rares early. I pulled a townhouse blueprint from the first shop and used it on milestone 2, and I wasn't offered any buildings the week afterwards. I assume its because there weren't any rare buildings in the pool for that milestone. Regardless, this is still one of the most fun games I've bought this year, and there's a ton of game to explore for 10 bucks.
Really innovative and fun game, awesomeness lvl high!
An addictive micro-city building strategy game with what feels at first like an overwhelming amount of variety in its information provided to the player. But I'm already having fun trying to master its systems to hit the biggest combos and survive to the end of the final round on tougher and tougher difficulties (it's not easy!), and to unlock new factions and modifiers.
I feel like my journey with this gem of a game has just begun. Addicting, satisfying, and nails the "one more turn" feeling.
It's like balatro for people who like city builders. When I first downloaded the demo for this game it scratched the itch just right. By some miracle I was able to play this game early and pretty much could not stop playing it. I actually came on steam just now to make sure I bought it so the developer gets his money.
