Satisfying game. Lots of synergies and multipliers from in game units and "artifacts/relics" to watch number go up. Think Balatro crossed with a tile based city builder

I feel like im playing slay the spire but city builder loving it so far. wil update after getting better at the game and unlocking more stuff.
TLDR: Almost a perfect new addition to this genre. Its fresh and easy to understand with increased strategic depth. I am an addict to roguelike/lite genre and always try to anything new in the genre. After a lot of gambling based roguelites, Combolands is a fresh take in the genre. Planning combos is so much fun, UI is very intuitive and experimenting with combos and new tactics feels rewarding. When you start a new run you choose 2 of the 7 guilds as your building (card) pool. Not every combinations feels like a new set but the variance in the playstyle is easily felt, which I really appreciate. My only problem with the game right now is that it is not hard enough to be replayable infinetely unlike STS and Balatro. What makes these 2 games unique that on max difficulty, you have a winrate you try to raise. On Combolands losing feels almost very unlikely after you learn the game. While I was trying to unlock every guild and the max ascension level (sorry I dont remember what ascension is called in this game) I lost couple of games. But after I reached the max difficulty and learned the game during my journey, I rarely lost a run. If I did lose its in the first two eras. I think new games are scared of high difficulty curves and think players will leave the game. And this is somewhat true. But balance the base difficulty so that nobody gets scared and leaves but dont be shy to make the max difficulty almost feel unfair. For maximum replayibility a game in this genre needs to aim to have a max difficulty in which the best players have maximum winrat of 75%. If I dont optimize every building placement, I should lose the max difficulty game. This last paragraph is more of a feedback then review but I really think this game has the potential to be one of the greatest games of this genre. This is the only flaw I found in this game. Fully recommend it to anyone both enjoyers of optimization games and roguelite deckbuilder/gambling type games. I dont tend to write reviews. This game is such a hidden gem that I felt I needed to both share my passion and give feedback. Side note: Works perfectly on a custombuilt SteamOS Desktop PC.
Just one more turn heaven (hell?) It's fantastic!

游戏很不错,不过难度有点低。 Awesome game, but the difficulty level is low for hardcore gamers.
