Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

CAP2 is a middle ground simulator, you won't need to read a 300 page manual to get off the ground, nor will you be carrying dozens of missiles when you fire it up.

Should you buy CAP2 now?
If you don’t yet own CAP2 obviously we’d love for you to join the crew. We encourage you to read the above features list carefully, particularly with reference to what's currently enabled so that you have the correct expectation. It's worth remembering that as we add new features and content to CAP2 throughout EA, the price will increase.
CAP2 uses a custom built engine that delivers a totally unique, immersive and realistic experience. After initial flight and tactical training you will be pitched into an immersive scenario against aggressive ground, sea and air based enemies. Use the fully articulated cockpit, your skills as a pilot and your tactical awareness to engage in dogfights, carry out ground attacks and command your fleet to ultimately ensure the safety of your comrades and the final capitulation of the enemy.
Strategic decisions such as commanding your fleet on the tactical map and your performance in the air will affect the final outcome: Go 'gung ho' with a full out assault and the outcome will be in the balance or plan ahead and the end result will be your ultimate victory!

Not really any work being done. It's December 2024, 8 years into it. I would have expected more by now. At least some fixes since last update??
The good: straight out of the box, jump into action with an Xbox controller to complete the Mach loop. That’s thanks to recent updates. The bad: everything else. You have to approach it as a beta version of a sim made in 2005. Large amount of bugs, bad graphics, bad audio, horrible scenery. The fidelity is on MS Flight Sim 2004 level. And yet I recommend it! It’s a nice change from DCS or Falcon or P3D if you can afford it, everything is simplified, it’s ready to go. Get it on discount.

My advice is not to even think about buying this game now; you should wait. It's been in early access for over nine years.
Do not buy! Latest update is BS! Full of bugs and VR is not native.
If you enjoy the goat Harrier and really REALLY love the jet get this then. For a person who likes flight sims and combat sims this is a total skip. This is game is dead, shovelware, six feet under etc. Basically it is only a Harrier simulator with few missions. Refunded.
Was hoping it was a cross between something simple like Tiny Combat Arena and a conventional Nuclear Option type game, to get in and have some quick, simple and easy combat. But in my opinion it doesn't even pass as a pre-alpha test. Graphics on Ultra and it looked 2003 and played like it. Sorry to say but this still has a very very very long way to go. Buyer beware.
This game is not intended for mouse and keyboard and is a mission to figure out how to play I honestly thought i'd be able to figure it out but it clearly showed me I was wrong.
dont buy you only get 1 jet which isnt worth £22
I have been engaged in sims, particularly combat sims, since the mid-nineties...USNF Gold stole my heart as a kid. My point; I have ran the spectrum of sims for almost 30 years now. To the point about this sim; this early access captured something for me. This comes from a small developer, who has worked on it for years. The updates have been sporadic at best, but coming from a small developer, I am in awe. Is the sim perfect? No, but it really has some fantastic elements to it, clickable cockpits, a respectable flight model (not perfect, but lets not be pedantic) decent audio and I love the style of graphics and perspective within the sim. Is it as technical as DCS? No way, but to be frank, I spend 10 minutes just getting a bird off the ground in DCS, which is just too much sometimes. A sim doesn't need to be meticulous in every element to be enjoyable. To me, this sim is on its way to being something really cool and I don't mind the wait when supporting a small developer. One complaint I do have, is that at one point, I had access to flying the Osprey and the UH-60. With the last update, I don't seem to be able to access those anymore. I believe these will return, but I have no insight on that. There seems to be great potential with Micropose taking the reigns. Hats off to the developer and thank you for your efforts with this sim. On that note, if the developer is reads this, support for motion platforms would be awesome.
WTF?? dont know what to say. Nice idea, but unplayable. Its infuriating that you dare sell this as early acces. VR Controls are clumsy, unprecise and frustrating, but anyway barely working. You create an interactive realistic interactive cockpit. nice. But there is no tutorial, no guide, controls are unpredictable. Took me 2hrs to calibrate the cockpit view, because there is no guide whatsoever on how to do it. After i got this working, the controls are impossible to identify. no tags, no guide nothing. Plus the controls are so clumsy you press all sorts of buttons by accident except those you actually wanna press - no chance. But while pointing around with your finger, desperately trying to press that one, barely visible button, you will activate every button and lever in the proximity. This is an ambitioned complete unplayable mess. Get it off steam immediately and come back when you have something working.
