♥♥♥♥ me sideways, this was hard as balls. Over the course of three years, I had several half-assed attempts at progresing in this game, always ragequitting after three or four rounds. This time, I made it a priority: Don't stop playing until you see the credits. And this took me a good dozen of hours. Don't let the charming style and (probably) low price fool you: This one is unforgiving as hell. It's actually 99% roguelike, there's no meta system that at least throws you the occasional bone of stronger guns or more health after you've died to the second boss for the fifth time. The only thing you unlock permanently are new loadouts to start runs with for specific characters, but they might not necessarily match your playstyle. And they only unlock after you get further and further in the game. So no, it really comes down to the millenia-old saying: Git gud. I can now proudly say I got gud, at least enough to actually finish a whole run. And this is where I got to give the game my kudos: With other games, I probably wouldn't have bothered. But this one is actually really well made! The shooting feels satisfying, there are lovely details in the visuals and the sound design is solid, too. I WANTED to finish this. But the frustration was borderline bearable sometimes, because the randomly generated levels, buffs, enemies ... it can get really unfair without you really having a say in it. Still, though: If the prospect of a western twin-stick shooter appeals to you, give this one a spin. When you finally conquer it, it feels insanely gratifying.

Es un juego simple: La trama es rescatar a tu compañero, matando enemigos comunes, elites, emboscadas, algunos animales como lobos, cabras, osos y bisontes, y por último, los propios jefes de cada zona. Las partidas suelen durar como 1 a 2 horas, siendo posible configurar personalmente algunos aspectos de la partida para añadir o sacar dificultad. Como es un juego simple dirían que aprovechen para probarlo cuando este en oferta, y con un amigo, el cooperativo lo salva bastante. Lo Bueno (Personalmente): Me gustó lo simple y divertido que es jugarlo con un amigo en cooperativo, ya sea con el steam remote o en persona con un teclado y joystick. Me gusto la banda sonora, y lo divertido que es esquivar enemigos. Lo Malo (Personalmente): Algunas veces se siente frustrante, por la cantidad de enemigos que genera, en especial en las emboscadas, sobre todo cuando tienes poca vida con tu pj y no tienes dinamita. Otro detallito que da bronca son las hitboxes de los objetos del escenario, cuando quieres disparar a un enemigo la bala choca con un árbol, valla o piedra, y molesta mucho pq pierdes balas, o alertas a los enemigos. Otro mini detallito es las hitboxes de tu pj, pq a veces, aunque esquives bien terminaras recibiendo daño, aunque con menos frecuencia.

Very fun little top down western style shooter. Enough weapons and classes to play a while. Combat is fun and bloody. Give it a try.
