The time to upgrade is long Ok

Upset member I tried deleting one of my 4 accounts and it deleted all of them

A This game isn’t one that will be fast it’s a game you can play a little every day never running out of content nowadays I honestly think the upgrade times for the lower townhalls are a bit too fast these days. An upgrade that takes a few days might sound horrible and harsh but while that upgrade works in the background you just do something else and you don’t really feel resistance

Criticism don’t play it if you care about your future or if you want to live a healthy life instead of attacking pixels on your phone, if you like games, try a good one, like an AAA game on PC for a better experience.

Massive Improvements Over Time / Heroes Upgrades are Painful I had not played this game in several years, predominately due to the troop “training” system, in which troops need to take time (sometimes upwards of 45 minutes or more for a *single* troop). Meanwhile, troops used in battle, even ones that survived the whole thing, are all lost at the end, which incentivized you to use a little troops as possible to invade a base, and made attacking a “nickle and dining” affair raid than an intense, all-out assault that truly demonstrated how powerful your army could be (you didn’t go “all-out” as often as you should). Games like Supercell’s Boom Beach were preferable at this time due to the ability for surviving troops to come back, which incentivized a different type of skill in the form of using all your troops but doing your best to keep them alive. Fast forward to now, and attacking is entirely free with troops being restored instantly. This has made the game far more engaging in terms of mixing and matching army compositions, attacking constantly to perfect a strategy, and sometimes just attacking for fun. Due to the daily reward of collecting 5 stars from battles (of which 1-3 stars can be earned per battle), you have a daily goal of battles that you can optionally perform and then feel finished once the reward is earned. The game has had several QoL additions, such as the base build layout manager allowing to easily edit or copy your own base, or copy those of others, as well as having a section for war bases. Assistants now help with various base tasks, and generally speed up the processes. The builder base and clan capital wars give even more to do. Overall, the game feels much more fun and consumer friendly, with Hero skins and gems (which you can slowly earn for free) being the main purchase options, both of which feel fine. The only issue I’ve now noticed is the hero upgrade system, as mentioned in the title. Heroes will be in the 10s to 100s of levels (level 150 max from what I know), however, each individual level must be upgraded one at a time, requiring resources like troop training. However, these upgrades can take up to 2 days and beyond for just one upgrade (say a Barbarian King going from level 30 to level 31), AND they use up one of your builders for some reason. Town Hall upgrades usually raise your heroe’s max level cap by another 20 levels (level 30 max to level 50 max, for example), and when you have 3 to 4 heroes (6 max), this can mean a literal month or more of just pure hero upgrades before you can feel as though you’ve completed all upgrades before the next town hall level. Meanwhile, these hero upgrades are slowing down your base upgrades due to using up your builders. On top of all of this, your heroes can’t be used for the upwards of 2 or more days while they’re upgrading, making the entire process painful, hindering, and generally not fun. Supercell had an event where heroes could be upgrading and still usable (though a builder was used), which was more enjoyable. I personally feel as though the resource requirement (which is currently one of the only good uses for dark exilir with the high dark exilir hero upgrades costs) is a good enough cost, and that allowing heroes to be upgraded while still being usable and NOT using up a builder would be far more enjoyable. Make this change, and the game would be feeling near perfect for what it is trying to offer.
