Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

it's beautiful

This is most likely the best game I have played in at least 10 years. It looks great, has fantastic facial animations, great voice acting, a compelling story, an excellent soundtrack, and very good classic turn-based JRPG-style combat. My only minor gripe is that the menus can be a bit cumbersome to navigate later in the game, when you have tons of stuff to manage. The fact that such a small studio was able to create a game of this scope and quality feels like it should have been impossible.

I dont like turn based games so I came into this expecting not to like it but Exp 33 is now one of my top 5 favorite games OAT and will probably be the first game I ever go back to 100%. The soundtrack is perfect, the story is well crafted and surprised me multiple times, the world is beautiful, and the fighting is really fun.
