just a great game all done by 1 developer.
CivIdle is a free to play idle strategy game where you build up your own civilisation and manage its resources. The main idea is that your civilisation keeps working and producing things even when you are not actively playing. The game starts off fairly simple. You collect basic resources and use them to build new buildings that can produce more resources. As you progress, you unlock more buildings and technologies which slowly makes your civilisation more complicated. There are more than 50 buildings and over 30 technologies to unlock. You need to work out how to organise your production and make sure you have enough resources to keep everything running. The further you get, the more things you have to keep track of. Trading is another important part of the game. You can trade resources with other players and use the system to get things that you are missing. There is also diplomacy and war, which gives the game more than just the usual idle gameplay. The world map is another nice feature. Instead of only managing a menu of numbers, you can see your civilisation developing across the map. It makes the progress feel a little more meaningful. The biggest problem is that CivIdle can become quite repetitive. A lot of the gameplay involves watching numbers go up, waiting for resources and upgrading buildings. That is the whole point of an idle game, but people who want constant action will probably get bored. The game also has a lot of systems to learn as you progress. It starts simple but can become quite complicated once you have lots of buildings and resources running at the same time. Overall, CivIdle is a good idle game for people who enjoy slowly building up a civilisation. It has more depth than a basic clicker because of the trading, technology, diplomacy and war systems. Rating: 7.8/10

Not an idle game. Early progress is Caravansary tax luck based / repetetive from GP. Needs some QoL changes.
