I'm sorry to say that with all the effort that's been made, but the game doesn't actually give anything that you can't find in another bus game. I'd say it's even worse, while other games provide the base game with several busses, this game provides a bundle with just a couple of busses for around 35€. If you want more busses, which again should be included in the base game and they're even NOT included in the bundle, you need to pay the price of a 2nd game, that's totally unfair. The platform is strange, they're trying to do something I haven't seen before, a platform instead of a base game, to understand what you're buying you have to use ChatGpt, and even if you buy the bus version, for example, you must learn how to drive the tram. Guys!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought the BUS, the BUS!!!!!, why am I supposed to go through the tutorial of the tram. Also, it's the 21st century, a game without English speaking, come on guys, only German sounds? The text is available in English, WOW!!!! I'm sorry, but this game isn't worth the money, even with a huge sale which I'm sure will never arrive. Game refunded.

Das Spiel hat einen guten Ansatz, wird dem Hype jedoch nicht gerecht. Die KI-Autos nehmen ständig die Vorfahrt, nicht nur einmal, sondern an jeder Ampel und bei jedem Fahrzeug. Man muss sich aggressiv "dazwischendrängen", um überhaupt weiterzukommen. Die Ampeln sind ewig rot, was das Spiel unnötig verzögert. Zudem schalten Ampeln, an denen viele Autos stehen, direkt wieder auf Rot. Das Fahrverhalten, das im Vorfeld so gehypt wurde, kommt nicht ansatzweise an das von Omsi2 heran. Busse fahren sich nicht viel besser als in anderen zwischenzeitlich erschienenen Simulationen. Die Grafik ist für die heutige Zeit veraltet. Entgegen den Ankündigungen lassen sich nicht alle Knöpfe bedienen. Die ständige Anzeige "Ziel erfüllt, drücke W um weiterzufahren" oben links ist störend und für eine realistische Simulation ungeeignet. Statt die Route auf dem Boden anzuzeigen, wäre eine realistischere Lösung für Spieler, die ein realistisches Spiel erwarten, wünschenswert. Die Gangschaltung des MAN Lion's City schaltet viel zu hastig, was ein ruhiges Fahren unmöglich macht. Die Bremse bremst am Anfang viel zu stark und wird nicht, wie in der Realität, stärker, je mehr man sie drückt. Ich würde dieses Spiel niemandem empfehlen, der einen realistischen Simulator erwartet. Ich werde es zurückgeben.

Firstly, it's a pretty decent game. However, there are too many flaws for me to give it a good review. The traffic light system doesn't work properly. Sometimes I have a green light as a tram, but cars still come from the left and right... and boom — crash. Yeah, very funny. And let's not even talk about the DLC pricing. It's ridiculous how expensive a single bus or tram model is. Until at least one of these issues is fixed, I can't recommend this game.

Es fing als Straßenbahnsimulation an. Eigentlich ganz nett. Aber es entwickelt sich immer mehr zur Bussimulation. Eine Bussimulation ist aber für Gamer ohne Lenkrad eher schlecht spielbar. Keine Weiterentwicklung bei der Straßenbahn. Das Netz ist viel zu klein und die Linien viel zu kurz. Völlig unrealistisch. Ich ärgere mich, dafür Geld ausgegeben zu haben.

Completely unplayable with a wheel

Ich finde das Spiel richtig geil auch für Anfänger sehr gut geeignet!Man kann eigene Strecken erstellen und Orignal Strecken wie Berlin brauch ich nicht,es geht einfach um den Spass und das hat man :)

Status 10/2025 It depends on what type of player you are. Those who prefer only driving, and other aspects of the game do not appeal to them, will probably be satisfied. Others will be more likely disappointed like me. Steam should have a neutral thumb. + large and very well-made map, nice graphically and with a variety of buildings and street layout. + great possibilities to customize the names of the city, stops, lines. + line numbers and stop names really appear in the game on stops signs and infopanels. + buses have designated places to end their routes without blocking another line and there are even loops on the map. + combination of tram and bus in one game. - you can't do anything on the map or with/in vehicles other than drive, it's not exactly a "city transport sim" but rather just a driving sim. - the sandbox is not sandbox at all, the number of lines and vehicles is limited by operational points, you can't spawn an empty bus and just drive around the map, you can't even drive or walk along any street that is not shown in the menu, even though it is fully built in the game and for ex. only connects the streets you drive on, the map is simply not an open world. - the player can't ride as a passenger with AI trams and buses. - the timetable is only automatically calculated ratio of the round trip time and the number of vehicles on line, you can't enter exact departure times or different intervals during the day, no shifts creation etc. Additionally, you cannot enter longer pauses at the final stop than 5 minutes, but after the last update, the automatic calculation does not work well either, the game creates pauses longer than the interval. - it is fixed through which street bus routes can be planned, and in some parts of the map the routes don't give logic, because lines often cross without the possibility of making a transfer stop between them (often mainly between trams and buses). There are extremely long stretches without stops in the southern part of the map etc. - AI vehicles do not respect the timetables. Many departure times never arrive, even though the time is displayed on the infopanel at the stop and the line has enough vehicles. - very nicely made map is not used for anything other than driving. - a lot of bugs in the controls, every time I start the game some keys with a function do not work. - compared to other simulators where these things above are done better, this game is extremely overpriced. For this AAA price (70 EUR for whole game), the game should contain everything mentioned above as a basic minimum and be perfectly polished I think. I wish fewer games with more complex content. Many developers make the same basic-level games over and over, just when the game could start to get better, they quit and go make another game. This game is exactly in that state right now, but it has the potential to get better. I wish the developers add more functions, fix bugs and improve the game for few years to come at least. Then we would have finally a good complex game, which is the most important parameter for me in this regard out of all I review here.

Its literally pay 2 play 100 euro for that ♥♥♥♥? they even added the "2025" to the title to make the game look better great job! there are some people out there that never played that garbage and they buy this version for 100 euro without knowing that they got robbed no updates for this version its abonded less "features" what they call then in the newest "2026" version If you still want to support viewapp for their "good" work then better buy the "2026" version Small tip for you people out there DO NOT SUPPORT ViewApp They abondend so many games like ♥♥♥♥ flushed in a toilet for example: TramSim Vienna TramSim Munich CityDriver (sadly I bought it, I should have never done that It IS pure trash abonded since 2023) and now this ♥♥♥♥ City Transport Simulator 2025 This is just a money maker studio nothing else
