Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 28 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Chronology is a thoughtful and endearing puzzle-platformer developed and published by Bedtime Digital Games, blending inventive mechanics with a heartfelt narrative about time, consequence, and companionship. Set in a whimsical world teetering between decay and rebirth, the game follows an elderly inventor who awakens after a cataclysmic event and discovers that time itself may hold the key to repairing what has been lost. Joined by an intelligent, talking snail, the inventor embarks on a journey to piece together his fractured memories and uncover the cause of the disaster. What follows is a short but memorable adventure that combines accessible puzzle design with a beautifully illustrated world and a surprisingly emotional tone. Chronology’s premise may sound simple at first glance, but its execution reveals a layered experience built around the joy of experimentation and the quiet melancholy of lost time. The game’s central mechanic—the ability to manipulate time—forms the heart of its identity. Players can shift between the past and the future with a single command, watching the environment transform instantly as buildings crumble, flora blooms, and machinery either rusts or springs to life. This ability is not just a visual flourish but the foundation of the game’s puzzle-solving. Each challenge is built around understanding how the world changes across eras and using those transformations to progress. Some obstacles can only be overcome by reverting time to restore a path, while others demand the player to move forward in time to clear hazards or create openings. The result is a satisfying interplay between logic and discovery, where every shift in time reveals a new layer of the environment’s design. It’s a mechanic that remains consistently engaging, even as the puzzles stay relatively simple, and it serves as a graceful metaphor for the story’s themes of creation, loss, and renewal. The partnership between the Old Inventor and his snail companion adds another dimension to the experience. Both characters have unique abilities that complement one another and encourage a sense of cooperation. The inventor handles machinery, climbs platforms, and performs the more physical tasks, while the snail can freeze time, allowing for precise movement and the manipulation of dynamic objects. Switching between the two becomes a rhythmic dance that defines the flow of gameplay. This system creates moments of clever synergy, where success depends on using both characters’ strengths in concert. The puzzles rarely frustrate, opting instead to encourage experimentation and flow. Rather than presenting mind-bending difficulty, Chronology focuses on delivering steady, meditative satisfaction—each level offering just enough resistance to make progress feel earned without breaking the gentle tone of the journey. Visually, the game’s world is a standout feature, painted in a colorful and slightly surreal art style that merges mechanical ruins with organic life. The contrast between the lush past and the desolate future is striking, and the transitions between them are rendered beautifully, emphasizing how fragile and mutable the world truly is. The character designs, while simple, exude warmth and personality, particularly the snail, whose animation and gentle demeanor make her an unexpected highlight. The sound design reinforces this atmosphere with soft, melodic music and subtle environmental cues that mirror the game’s themes of reflection and wonder. There’s a sense of quiet solitude in the audio direction that keeps the experience immersive without overwhelming the player, matching the calm pacing of the gameplay itself. Chronology’s main shortcoming lies in its brevity and limited ambition. The game can be completed in just a few hours, and while every moment is polished, it ends before its mechanics can evolve into something more complex. Some players may wish for a deeper narrative or more challenging puzzles, as the game’s framework feels capable of supporting greater depth. Yet the simplicity also works in its favor—it allows the story and mechanics to remain tightly focused, ensuring that nothing overstays its welcome. The narrative’s emotional undertones, centered on the inventor’s guilt and determination to mend what he once destroyed, resonate strongly by the time the credits roll. It’s a small story told with sincerity, and that earnestness gives it staying power beyond its brief runtime. As an experience, Chronology succeeds in creating a world that feels both fragile and hopeful. Its mixture of whimsical art, clever time mechanics, and touching companionship makes it stand out among indie puzzle-platformers. It’s not a game that demands mastery or punishes failure; instead, it invites contemplation and curiosity. Every solved puzzle feels like a step toward understanding—not just the game’s world but the deeper message about responsibility and redemption. For players who enjoy slower, story-driven experiences that emphasize atmosphere and ingenuity over difficulty, Chronology is a gentle and rewarding journey. Though short and modest in scope, it leaves an impression that lingers long after the final scene, reminding you that even time itself can be reshaped when hope endures. Rating: 8/10
platform ve bulmaca tatlı mı tatlı
I enjoyed this game, wish it was a bit longer though :(
8/10 Кумедна гра, милі персонажі, шкода, що така коротка, а продовження так і не сталося.
