Great game so far, just want to play it until I reach the end. Amazing variety in enemy, location and music. Really consistent progression that feels rewarding. Map design early is a bit ♥♥♥♥ as you just go back and forth. But I am really enjoying my time with this and loving some of the enemy designs.
When I first picked up this game, I just couldn't get into it. The interface seemed clunky and the movement of the character very stiff and limited. But I loved the graphics and the music, which I would describe as Sega Mega Drive on steroids (that is Sega Genesis for u US people). However, as I played some more I realized that the stiff movement and clunky UI is was part of the designed experience, and that it actually gave the game more than just nostalgic charm. In the end, I would give this 8.5 (out of 10) chain whips. Great game, well worth your time.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Quien sea fan de los primeros Castlevania y el SOTN lo va a disfrutar.
Super recommended for those loving retro style and metroidvania games! Loving this art so much! Great playing experience!
I cant believe its not Castlevania!
Game crashes when you open the pause menu on Steam Deck. Gameplay is mediocre besides - clunky movement and extremely bland levels.
It's the closest thing to a modern "Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia" and that's a huge plus. Plays great, sounds great, it feels great. Don't hesitate and give the demo a try. Then buy the game, simple as that.
A well polished experience. Hooked me from the start.
