Lost value I was a follower of this app’s development from the very first stories and I can say I’ve see the quality improv and fall over time. This year I got back into playing regularly and noted the quality had changed again. Holes in the story or just a slop ending. The membership is no longer worth it. RIP to choices

i miss the old choices there’s no actual care or talent that goes into this game anymore, it’s just soulless ai generated trash that has no interesting plot or anything that makes it unique. it’s such a shame too, because I loved the old stories that the app had but I can’t even make it through one episode of any of the new ones

Characters I’ve been playing this game for almost 10 years. Characters in the recent books are not as appealing as they once were. The characters are starting to look too cartoonish.

Best App Ever I’ve been with choices for years and I believe since the beginning. Such great story lines, characters and a vast array of different genres. Truly such an amazing game. I’ve nearly read almost all the books.

Stop with the AI I used to be a really big fan of the games and the stories but now with the artwork and stories really leaning into AI, it’s super disappointing to see how much they’ve lost their authenticity and charm. Once I actually realized how much AI was being used I went ahead and cancelled my VIP. I understand that there are budgetary constraints but making each story soulless is not the way to handle it.

It’s Just AI Now I had played Choices for years, since it had maybe a dozen of stories in total. I have spent far too much money on it over the years, but I always felt that it was worth it because the stories were always so enjoyable. Over the past year or two, the entirety of the platform has become AI slop. It started with AI art covers, and then became unintelligible continuations of stories that had been abandoned years ago. If you do not have concerns with the ethics of AI use as I do, you will still be disappointed because the stories created with it are god-awful. Choices is now only enjoyable in as much as you can go back and experience the stories from before the influx of AI garbage.

What makes it worse is they have the option to just reuse old artwork and character designs, but they continue to spit out AI slop. They’re fully aware their fanbase hates it and they could not care less. Spend your time and money with a better game.
