Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Program a robot to solve logic puzzles in ChipWits, an open-ended programming game for beginners and experts alike! Inspired by the 1980s original, ChipWits combines the best of puzzle games, automation, and programming to introduce a new generation of players to a classic gaming experience.

Take control of a humble robot, ChipWit Model CW-03.24, and learn the ropes of automating its activities. Place chips to instruct your ChipWit’s movement across the factory floor, building on skills learned in previous areas to solve increasingly complex puzzles to help Professor Chip open his first factory. Order these chips to find a solution to each floor, then press play to watch your ChipWit accomplish its goal!

ChipWits is designed to mimic programming, with no prior experience required. Each puzzle has multiple solutions and can be resolved in unique and clever ways. Experiment with different chip combinations to achieve your goal, and see how your performance compares to the global leaderboard!
Every solution can be optimized to:
• Maximize your score
• Minimize the number of chips used
• Minimize the number of cycles (steps) it takes for your program to run

ChipWits reimagines the original 1984 game of the same name. This reboot offers an accessible introduction to programming, featuring thorough tutorials, familiar automation controls, and a diverse range of puzzle solutions.

I created a new Steam account to play this game, and it was very worth it. The way I described it to someone is that it's easy enough that you know you will be able to find the solution, and simultaneously it is hard enough that it will require some thinking but once you get it - it's extremely rewarding. Right before you run the correct layout, it's like you see a "light" at the end of the tunnel and everything makes sense - and then the dopamine hits and is amazing. Although sometimes you may think you got it and you you missed a movement that screws entire trajectory, which keeps you on your toes! I'm also very much into AI and have created an agent using GPT-5.5 and tested it against the game! It not only beat the game, but beat 2 public monthly challenge solutions - https://chipwits.com/hall-of-pie/. The community on Discord has also been very welcoming! They even gave me access to an MCP Server so my agent could play the game! 10/10 would recommend!
ChipWits is the fresh new face of the Eighties logic/programming classic. Place tiles on the program grid to drive your robot around and complete a variety of challenges: gather goodies, avoid baddies, move items, solve puzzles. Hone your programming skills by looping, forking, making decisions, and acting on the objects around you, then optimize your solution to make it as efficient as possible. Comprehensive tutorials make learning the game easy. Once you've learned the basics, the game includes all the puzzles from the original and new challenges are being added regularly. Development is ongoing and active, meaning new features are being added all the time. Dev is also engaged and open to advice and suggestions. A fun, engaging programming game. Highly recommended.

It's a fantastic game - fun to play, and great for kids (and adults) to get excited about coding by solving awesome puzzles.
I played the original game long ago and have been wanting a modern version for a long time. This is a great job they did on this.
Chipwits has a very specific demographic, and I don't think I fit it quite right. If you're a big fan of logical computer puzzles, I reckon you'll really like it; I just personally found it a slog when I had only completed half the content in the game and I had no desire to finish it. I'd still recommend giving it a go if it seems up your alley though. 5/10 for me but could easily be an 8 or more for you
Amazing game. Learning can be fun, this game makes it so. Well done. If they had this when I was in school, I probably would've have learned to program lol. None the less wonderful game. 10/10
i bought this game back in 1980's for the Mac computer. Its a great simulator for young boys & girls who want to learn visual programming. This newer version is also great with some extra maps thrown in. Great for learning coding & working puzzles. ***** stars !
ChipWits is a fantastic revival of an 80's programming puzzle classic that improves upon the original in most every way. Fans of the original will be pleased to know that the classic content has been faithfully recreated both stylistically and mechanically, and the new content introduces brand new kinds of challenges that are fun for both beginners and seasoned players alike. Whether you grew up with the classic ChipWits or have no idea what an if-else statement is, you'll have a terrific time wiring wits for wonderfully wacky rollerskating robots.
