Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game still very much feels Early Access - it's unpolished: ----------CONS---------- - NPCs have no turn animation, so they suddenly are face you when talking (bit uncanny valley) - Button options randomly disappear, making navigation difficult - No scroll bar at General Store - Music albums often have disappearing tracks and/or buttons - The request board is very unclear - it seems the player has 1 day to complete the request, but this isn't stated anywhere in-game, and the items NPCs ask for don't show up on the board - Many small typos and grammatical errors, etc. - Structures get black in/out and show black triangles anytime the camera is facing with you leaving the Town Hall (the most important place early on) - Lag ~1s every time opening & close dialogue with NPCs!! Ultimately, this is what pushed me toward "not recommended," as my PC is good enough to run Monster Hunter Wilds on High Quality ... - Disappearing NPCs (the airplane boy and girl) when talking with the Mayor ---------PROS--------- - The music. oh my god, the music is AMAZING!! And I LOVE that you can change it anytime you want, wherever you want! (looking at you, Animal Crossing NH...) - Beautiful scenery - Fully 3D camera angles - Starting house is not just a shack, but feels like an actual "Tiny House," and you can choose from different options - A "quick save" button is pre-built into the controller (LB on Xbox) ----------SUMMARY-------- - Has that EA "jank," really good potential but is unpolished. - I still like it enough I'm not going to refund it, but I won't be playing any longer until the above Cons are ironed out

This has the harvest moon and animal crossing vibe except 20 times slower gameplay and 400 times more pointless dialogue with an odd obsession with lo-fi music. In its current state, I can only recommend this game to literal children or someone stoned out of their mind. There are far too many better options out there and I found this straight up painful to play.
Pros- * Aesthetically the game is very nice to look at. I especially like the lighting when the sun sets. * Lots of variety in Furniture and Decorations. If you like Decorating, this game does that very well. * Craft from Storage! Probably the most useful feature this game offers. Anything in your Storage is also available at the Workbench, even if the Workbench is outside of your House. I wish other games took advantage of such a good QOL Feature. ------------------------------- Cons/Odd Things- * After talking to an NPC, there is a brief moment of Pause... Before you can move your character again. It's not Lag but does feel like it. * Hairstyles that have an Extra Accessory (Such as the Head Wings) can not be colored separate. The wings will be the same color as your Hair. Same for the styles with Hair Clips and Headbands. Even though on Official Art it shows these accessories in different colors. * Some NPCs use a totally different Body Model than your own. While visually similar it's also obviously different. As if they belong in a different Video Game. (Such as the Boy with the Shovel Quest.) * Not being able to Drag/Sort items in your Pockets. To equip a tool, you have to click, and then select equip. You can not simply drag it into your tool bar. Nor can you sort items by dragging them into different slots. * There's no Alert for when a Fish Bites while Fishing. It does make a slightly bigger splash, but it's not different enough from the Fish Nibbling to be able to really notice. It makes fishing very annoying rather than relaxing. * Inconsistencies when gardening. Sometimes the game will ask you to dig a hole first to plant a flower/crop... And other times it just lets you stick it right in the ground as is. * There's Storage in your House, but the game doesn't really explain that to you... You have to go looking for it on your own. Once in your house, you can open your Pockets, and select items to put in Storage. If you want to take something from the Storage however, it's a different window, accessed outside of your Pockets. The UIs not being connected is a bit tedious. * Daily Income Buggy. When you lay in bed to end the day, the screen that pops up showing what you sold seems to not be working properly. * Dialogue not matching actual contents. For example, the NPCs talk about the App on your phone being called "Critterly"... But it's actually just called "Collection"... * After unlocking the Collection App, you can preview many different things. There's an impressive amount of Furniture/Decorations... But there's a rather disappointing amount of Monsters/Pets. ------------------------------------ These are things I've noticed only after playing for a very short duration. For the price of 15$... I think this is a fine game. Especially if you snag it on Sale. You should be able to put in enough Hours to equal the Value. However, I can also see it being frustrating or feeling incomplete in many ways... Which may cause several people to put down the game in favor of something else. So for this I Hesitantly Recommend.
I want to like this game so bad....but I just can't....the UI is SO basic....the controls feel clunky with xbox controller. The game has some weird buggy, glitchy situations...for example if you move the camera around while too close to a building everything shakes oddly or if you talk to an NPC or interact with something there is this weird dramatic pause where you cant move when done interacting. Again, idk if this is only an issue with controller but planting crops and digging is a pain in the a**. Also, every time the loading screen pops up its the same picture they have on here for the store page and it just looks so bad. I was hoping it would be a good alternative to Animal Crossing while waiting for them to release a new game, but at this point I'd rather just start NH over again. I dont know if they can or will ever update this game down the road with it not being in early access anymore, but if they did I would give it another shot, but for now it just feels unplayable and I would not recommend spending the money on it at this time....It needs some major overhauls.
My review is going based on the first hour I played. So I got this as a gift because I am super hyper fixated on animal crossing and this looks like it chief with the lofi music the characters, I was sold and eager. But good god the load screens...Sometimes I'll be talking to an NPC and their hair will just float off. The characters at the doc look just like human versions of dodo airlines people. Like change it up a bit so it isn't a copy. This game has SO MUCH potential but for (EDITED) 15 dollars? I don't think it's there yet. Maybe with more involvement and time and work yes I can see this being better than animal crossing and way much more fun but for now so much...Needs tinkering with. Also the point system being called CP is..Could we call it ANYTHING else?
I’ve decided to stop playing because the game is too buggy. With so many similar games out there, it’s not worth the time and frustration.
----- You may find a German version below ----- Is the game buggy? - Yes Is the game "unpolished"? - Yes Does my PC sound like a jet? - Yes (strangely, my Steam Deck doesn't 🤔) I don't know why, but I really enjoy playing Chill Town. Walking around the island with nice, cozy music, catching fish, designing the island (paths, plants, fields, decorative objects), and occasionally boiling a few eggs to sell is really fun. Sometimes you glitch into walls or get stuck somewhere, but there's always the "Unstuck" button 😅 And I've personally found that bugs and oddities reported via Discord are quickly recorded and patched (I can finally boil 99 eggs at once instead of just 98). I enjoy flying to the uninhabited islands the most to collect resources (wood, stones, flowers, vegetables and fruit (-plants)) and Pals. Unfortunately, I still don't know what these Pals are actually for. There are a lot of things I don't understand (yet?). But I think the further you complete the quest line, the clearer everything becomes. At least, that's been my experience so far. You have to give Chill Town time. If you only play the game for 30 minutes, you'll naturally be disappointed because it's not a perfect copy of Animal Crossing. The game unfolds slowly, and there's little help, for example, in the form of tutorials. But if you get into it, it's a really fun and entertaining game. Chill Town muss man Zeit geben.
I could not get past the tutorial. I couldn't even talk to any NPCs. Glad I bought it on sale. Instant refund. Disappointing.
