Children of Silentown is a dark adventure game that tells the story of Lucy, a girl growing up in a village deep in a forest inhabited by monsters. People disappearing is nothing uncommon here, but this time, Lucy is old enough to investigate on her own. Or so she thinks.

Children of Silentown aspires to be a dark fairy tale adventure game, and I'd say it does a pretty good job. To be clear when they say dark fairy tale they mean more in the modern sense, not the classic original Brothers Grimm sense, nobody gets sliced bow to stern. As an adventure game it has some clever puzzles, although the thread one is repeated with increasing difficulty, I found it enjoyable enough that I didn't mind doing harder and harder versions as the game went on. Moon logic is pretty sparse and there's a decent variety of locations and set pieces. It's a very solid "good for all ages" type game, but like a modern Pixar movie it's probably aimed most at middle-grade players. Nothing wrong with that of course and it's perfectly enjoyable by older audiences, but if you're picking it up expecting something really emotionally challenging and disturbing you might be disappointed.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Le jeu est vraiment intéressant autant au niveau de l'histoire que de la DA. Finissable rapidement, il arrive a racconter une histoire profonde en tres peu de temps. Je recommande fort
Whoever played this game Im sure almost all of us had to search up how to solve that one puzzle HOWEVER I would do that shi all over again just for the story and meaning alone, beautiful game truly worth my time <33
I really enjoyed this game. I got stuck once because there aren't very many hints on what you need to do. In one case you have to walk in a very specific place and I don't know if I would have ever figured that out on my own. I do like that there are multiple endings and the achievements have a good range of things to do. Overall I spend around 40 hours on this game. Definitely worth playing.
beautiful point and click game. the art style is amazing and story is really good. theres 4 different endings, which is different from usual Daedalec games, and they all make sense and leave you feeling that the story is indeed complete.
i feel too autistic for a game like this. or something. idk. its not fun to be told what to do every step of the way but its also not fun to sit and struggle 40 years trying to figure out a puzzle. and figuring out this puzzle once, okay. but dont just rehash the same format and just a new solution for every puzzle. that feels,. lazy? like having a crossword in the paper every week. it gets boring. im not enjoying rehashing the same puzzle format every time and it seems like so precious little hints to figure out what to do next. and then i get frustrated cause i feel like i take two literal baby steps in the game and get hit with yet another rehashed puzzle i have to figure out to progress anything any further. and sometimes dropped into a new area and just no literal hint for what to do at all, i think i noticed the song button flashing to let me know to sing one time but more often than not i found myself frustrated with this game than enjoying any of it.
ахирительная красивая и крутая затягивает интересные сложные головломки
puzzles are hard and all but secret ending is so stupid i missed 1 melody on ch2 and no i am not gonna play whole chapters for another ending.
