Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Child of Light is exactly what it tells you it is – a beautiful fairytale. Not the type of experience that would dramatically change your life, but that's not a bad thing at all. Here you have a melancholic piano soundtrack, a gorgeous watercolour art style, a princess and her whimsical friends fighting to save a magical land. I spent a few cosy evenings playing it and had a great time. Also, I love how all the dialogue rhymes, it’s really cute and occasionally hilarious!
Very cute and fun. would recommend <3

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I never actually played this game all the way through. The protagonist moved so slow I almost immediately got annoyed and put it down.
A very beautiful and stylized art design. Turn-based combat with interesting twists and characters that feel distinct from one another. The story is good, although toward the end it feels a bit rushed. Overall, a good experience—the only real downside is having to use the Ubisoft launcher.
Ubisoft won't let me play because U-play doesn't recognize that I have this even though I bought it here on Steam and went back and forth with their terrible Support team for over 3 hours and gave them every bit of evidence they asked for to show I owned it. U-play games on Steam need the same Warning/Notice that games that require a PSN account have.
The Good: This game is incredibly charming. For what you pay, you get a really stylistic game with a beautiful OST and solid gameplay. I played on Steam Deck; no special settings were required and the controls felt perfect. The story is straightforward and the characters are simple, but the game is short and it works (it took 16 hours to fully complete everything). The Bad: You have to sign up for a Ubisoft account before the game will let you play it. This annoyed me slightly. You should buy this game if: - You like turn based games. - You like fairy tales. The story is a big fairy tale and everything rhymes. - You want a short, compact narrative with fun and simple characters. You should not buy this game if: - You do not want to create a Ubisoft account. - You like to collect achievements (there are none in this game).
Yet again Ubisoft proves that they can destroy their legacy. Ubisoft Connect huh? Connect what exactly. it is sad that this gem of a game, although short, has effectively been gatekept from players. I still give this game a thumbs up, but Ubisoft gets a big, huge, middle finger.
The game itself is fine, would soft-recommend. I'm not a big fan of the final-fantasy-genre turn-based combat aspect, but as those things go it's a little bit more interesting than usual with the semi-controllable timeline. The main core of the game, the exploring, is also fine. Nice graphics. Decent sound. Pretty bad writing where they tried to make everything rhyme, but didn't try *very hard* so it's like eighth-grader poetry quality of rhyming, with sentences rearranged to put the rhyming word at the end where it doesn't really go, bad scansion in general, and many of the rhymes are near-misses. But the reason it's a not-recommend is Ubisoft's stupid launcher. I shouldn't have to have an online account to play a single-player game [once it's downloaded]. I expect at some point whatever service it requires to be running will stop running, and every existing copy of the game will become unplayable, which is just a horrible thing to do, Ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves for this. If they were going to remove this annoyance they should have done so already. I can understand it being there at launch-time, maybe they originally sold it only through their own platform, but two years after it's been on Steam it should be long gone.
Currently (14th March 26) it crushes on Windows.
What a delightful piece of magic <3 SO incredibly enjoyable from start 2 finish w/ amazing turn-based combat + a wholesome tale to accompany it. so charming, a must play :)
