Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, awakens on the lost fairytale continent of Lemuria. To return home she must fight against the dark creatures of the Queen of the Night, who have stolen the sun, the moon and the stars. At stake is not only Lemuria, but Aurora’s true destiny.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Ubi connect :/
This game is one of the last Ubisoft's greats
Child of Light is a beautiful, heartfelt game I first played back in 2014 on the PS3 when it first released and it's one of those games I could never forget. It's got gorgeous music, art and writing, but the ubisoft connect software on Steam is ridiculous... you're telling me I need to have my Steam open and logged in... so the game will open a different launcher... have me log into an account I have no interest in having... just to play it? I'll refund solely on this reason, feeling incredibly disrespected by Ubisoft.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 11: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I never actually played this game all the way through. The protagonist moved so slow I almost immediately got annoyed and put it down.
Ubisoft won't let me play because U-play doesn't recognize that I have this even though I bought it here on Steam and went back and forth with their terrible Support team for over 3 hours and gave them every bit of evidence they asked for to show I owned it. U-play games on Steam need the same Warning/Notice that games that require a PSN account have.
Das Spiel lässt sich dank der Verknüpfung mit der Software der Herstellers (Ubisoft) nicht starten!
Great game! Very good story and the art is just beautiful
The game itself is fine, would soft-recommend. I'm not a big fan of the final-fantasy-genre turn-based combat aspect, but as those things go it's a little bit more interesting than usual with the semi-controllable timeline. The main core of the game, the exploring, is also fine. Nice graphics. Decent sound. Pretty bad writing where they tried to make everything rhyme, but didn't try *very hard* so it's like eighth-grader poetry quality of rhyming, with sentences rearranged to put the rhyming word at the end where it doesn't really go, bad scansion in general, and many of the rhymes are near-misses. But the reason it's a not-recommend is Ubisoft's stupid launcher. I shouldn't have to have an online account to play a single-player game [once it's downloaded]. I expect at some point whatever service it requires to be running will stop running, and every existing copy of the game will become unplayable, which is just a horrible thing to do, Ubisoft should be ashamed of themselves for this. If they were going to remove this annoyance they should have done so already. I can understand it being there at launch-time, maybe they originally sold it only through their own platform, but two years after it's been on Steam it should be long gone.
