Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 22 → 4.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

controls are awful and it's a big part of the cooking mechanics. destined to fail by design :)
Pros: cosy and fun, good visuals Cons: quite buggy and laggy, tutorial is very short and incomplete, had to look for basic instructions on google/reddit/youtube. For example, the robot character who's supposed to show the tutorial never specified the criteria to soft-launch the restaurant or where we can find her. She just gave the quest and left. Hope the devs will fix the bugs/lags and make a more comprehensive tutorial.

nostalgic graphics make it cozy and fun to play, if you like to gather and hoard- the ingredients and fishing scratches that itch. Its very customizable all around for early access that I love (minigames are a lot of fun) and with the new update for Tidehaven I'm excited to continue the story. Its easier to manage on the PC then the steamdeck (fishing/hunting mostly)
Chef RPG is going to be an absolute titan in the farming/cozy RPG world. It is so, so, so so fun. So addictive. The art is incredible. The music is great. The map (in year one at least) is small and easy to get around. I love that you have the option to fast travel. I love the Neo Tokyo cyberpunk vibes. It lacks polish, as expected of an EA game BUT that has not taken away any enjoyment of the game for me. I've been playing and thinking about it non stop since I bought it two days ago. I have a love/hate relationship with the mini games, but even those are optional once you unlock auto cook. I'm looking forward to future updates and I can see myself sinking hundreds of hours into this gem.
I'm enjoying the game a lot more since the Tidehaven update. 100% a must have cozy game.
Devs.. I think its better to add like you can dive in the water to catch many kind of fish using spear gun its better and enjoyble
Esta bueno XD
What a great game, but one thing i don't really like is the ice cream machine yeah I kind of suck at it but maybe because i don't use mouse but anyway wish it will be easier (I'm sorry hahahah I'm really bad at it huhuhu) and the other one is I wish the greenhouse can be upgraded or any alternative way for farming. Because some common ingredients is needed to be planted but most of the space is used by my other seeds (coconut, cinnamon, and etc...) (Wish there are more Festival because i really the festival in spring) Anyway what a great game to relax after a hard day and can't wait for full release of the game..(>'.')>#
I got to test this very early on and I am very happy with how it's going. I like the world the game has developed and how the player fits into the world. I'm excited for the 1.0 release. If you enjoy "Stardew-like" life sims. This is a good one.
