Not necessarily a bad game just a bit too basic for my taste. Shoot or use shield to deflect bullets. Integrated jetpack allow for flying in every direction. A few ugly characters to choose from, all play the same. Levels are simple, some having water or raising lava, but generally they're still simple. 5 lives to take out rival and after that move on to next stage. Game is definitely more suited for player VS player gameplay. Without much variety in game mechanics, quickly becomes boring. Still, a bit of a letdown.
The bouncing shots and unique environments are cool, but ultimately this local deathmatch gets outdone by towerfall in every aspect. The singleplayer content is fairly weak. It's just a series of AI matches (the skins are cosmetic) strung together that can be pretty challenging. The co-op campaign in towerfall, as well as the unlockables, both felt more rewarding. The meat of the game lies in the multiplayer. The deathmatches can be hectic and the different maps have good variety and lots of fun mechanics such as water that bends shots or slippery ground with spike traps. However, there aren't any modifiers outside of this. So there are no power ups to add flavor to matches, just the same jetpack, reflecting shield and gun. These mechanics are fun and by no means broken, but they don't have the same kind of variety. It's an ok game on its own and I think the art style and more straightforward pure mechanics will appeal to people, but I do not think it is for everyone. If you are looking for a reason to put towerfall away, this isn't quite it.

Análise.
A mediocre PvP only retro pixel arena shooter. Gameplay is terrible, there's nothing to do apart from PvP in a low quality game. No depth, no width, shallow gameplay, lazy 2D retro pixel graphics. There's nothing to compel the PC gamer here.
This game is just good fun. I don't have any problems with it, really; I love ChargeShot's pixel art, the character designs and pun-filled dialogue adds a fair bit of charm, and the overall gameplay feels pretty responsive. The campaign is a tad difficult (that or it's a skill issue on my part), but I can excuse it. At the end of the day, it's a good time killer.
A quirky PvP deathmatch game. It's simple, but not super fun compared to other games I have played before. It just passes in terms of playability, but likely won't be the game I choose to play with friends during parties.
