The game isn't bad when you get a good run, the thing is you almost never do. On harder difficulties it means that one "bad" level up with no weapon upgrade in the first few levels almost always means you can't defeat the enemies fast enough and soon lose the run, I want to like the game, but in its current state it's just not fun to try to beat on anything harder than easy. I simply can't recommend it at the moment, but if the game gets something like re-rolls or banishes on level-ups that will probably change.
First of all, great time waster and sometimes ball clenching. I have 3 gripes about this game though: 1. The harder difficulties heavily rely on you getting dogwater RNG on upgrades to be more difficult. 2. Upgrades sometimes dont apply to your creature, I notice this happens when Im holding down a movement key while clicking an upgrade 3. I wish there was an infinity mode in the game; the funnest part about games like these is when you've got 20 upgrades bought and mowing down enemy hordes in seconds. All in all, 4/5
Quite Fun and challenging, and reasonably playable on pc. However it would be great to have customise-able controls. :) Also maybe a brief guide on the goal/how to win would be good. Took a few attempts to figure out some more obscure mechanics.
For £4.29, this game doesn't offer enough enjoyable content. It's hard to feel powerful enough to cope (even on the initial, easiest mode) for me, and I've played plenty of these kinds of games. The graphics and sound are minimalist to the point of blandness. Some of the weapons are fiddly to control. I'd only give it a tepid thumbs up at free, meaning I can't find a way to do anything other than not recommend it at this price point.
Very addictive game (positive) with satisfying sounds and intuitive game play :D
