Cellar Keeper

This is very much like Tidy the Arcane Library, but with a few little QOL improvements. Notably, the stairs are in the middle, so you don't have to walk all the way to the far side of the room during a no magic run. One thing that was a little downgrade, though, was that the bottles are all the same shape, so picking them is a matter of color and design.

This is a decent Librarian: Tidy Up The Arcane Library clone, though I have to agree that it is somewhat more tedious and lacks character - mainly due to the content rather than the execution. I'm not a wine drinker, so I don't find stocking various types of wine from various vineyards, clearly labelled, that interesting. It would have made it more interesting if a description of the wine was written on the bottle (for atmosphere) or you had to deduce which type of wine (i.e. Pinot Grigio or Pinotage or Pinot Noir) a bottle is based on some kind of hint on the bottle rather than simply label coloring. I finished the base game without skills on my first run in about 11 hours (as opposed to the 24 hours it took me for Librarian). It works well, though the occasional frame drops and movement lags are annoying. I *do* like the idea of a "Hardcore Mode" coming soon where you have limited carrying space, can't drop bottles, and can't step on the bottles. That would be a new twist on the gameplay. Honestly, for a sorting game like this, that really should be the base mode, in my opinion, without holding a player's hand. Of course, this type of game isn't for everybody, just be aware that the tedium is supposed to be part of the game.
