One of the best stories and games ever made and still the best example of what a game should be even 20 years after it was made
a simply incredible game, pissed me off so many times. But once you get the hang off it you REALLY get it. Love the music, love the story, love the weapons, love the movement, love the bosses. Don't love hell, but you take what you can get solid 8/10 good replayability with the different endings and weapons. The game is dirt cheap for what you get out of it, if you love challenging games and metroidvanias this is a must buy, and a certified 2000s classic. Also make sure to go in blind, don't look anything up until your second playthrough.

Heartwarming. First played the fan made Megadrive port of this game, but i had to buy it on steam eventually. The character interactions, the soundtrack, the gameplay... everything is so freaking good. Buy this game. Please support studio pixel, they need the money, This game is so freaking good. 10/10

not the best way to play the game... but solid! recommend
Pretty neat little game, probably not gonna replay it again but it's a fun game for what it's worth. Plus it's one of the earliest indie games (I think) which is pretty cool.
