Simple yet deceivingly addictive. I'm like "just 10 more minutes" and now it's been 5 hours!
Now I'm obsessed with finding the legendary variety of my cats :) 10/10

good cat
This is such a sweet game! If you love cats and cozy incremental games, you'll love this. You can run your own cat adoption centre, decorate and upgrade. All the cats have unique and different names, too. A lot of fun to relax with.
I enjoyed my 5.8 hours with Catio Simulator and unlocking all the achievements!
I really enjoyed this game as a short-ish cookie clicker alternative. I really appreciated the hover to click option, it was a really helpful accessibility feature and since I received this as something to stream, it helped knowing I wasn't going to have any chance of constant clicking being picked up by the audio. The progression is solid and I really liked the pool of cat names. The game has now added the option to permanently adopt a kitty and I'm just sat waiting on the perfectly named cat to appear. I played this game pretty actively, so around the 4 hour mark I was pretty much automated and just waiting on money coming in to achieve the quests. At this point, I can just turn it into an idler as long as I stop caring about the bonus pets (which is hard to do when they pay so well!) I definitely think if you ran it solely as an idler, you'd get a lot of time before you maxed out. Unfortunately, now that I've hit the end game I'm really feeling the looping of the quests; autopetter pet x times, player pet x times, buy 3 items, loop. I think it makes sense that these are things that can loop and get bonuses rather than be tied to promoting progression, but you really feel them. I think perhaps a quest board of some sort rather than them popping up automatically in the corner of the screen may make it feel less like you're caught in the loop. I would like a version where it displays always on top in a mini-window, so I can keep an eye on it while I do other work and just see the kitties playing around. Unfortunately, I know this feature can be buggy with Linux from implementation in other games. I really like how this game looks, the art is really nice and I like the design for the patio. I really enjoyed the pinnacle items too!
I really appreciate how the cats interact with the environment and other cats, it's obviously a labor of love and if you're a cat lover who wants a nice fun game to unwind this is fantastic.
