Boring game. A strategy of building short towers around the keep and tall towers on the perimeter worked with every campaign map, as well as endless mode where after wave 140 I started "deleting" towers just so I could lose.

Cute game
Tutorial doesn't explain basics, so it's impossible to know what you're supposed to do to get the suitable upgrades. It seems simple and fun. It's not when you get stuck because you don't learn the basics. Also, upgrades are randomized, so it's too easy picking the wrong option, which will doom the rest of your round. I tried several different strategies as well as starts and failed when the keep never seemed to upgrade. Waste of an afternoon. Stay away unless you like losing. And before someone says git gud, my impression from other comments on the game is that you're either "lucky" and find the winning strategy immediately and the rest of the game is too easy, or you're unlucky and lose over and over for hours. I don't mind losing. I mind losing when a mechanic I was shown at the tutorial fails to show up for the rest of the game and this consistently makes me lose.
Picked up this in Early Access, accepted it was still in early access, dropped it and came back again at V1.0 Yeah pretty happy with this. We have a low poly tower defence semi deck builder game of yeeting your enemies off the side of towers. The Dev team seems to be two people so a degree of slack needs to be cut for some of the minor issues. These are stuff like that despite successfully completing the campaign I still have no solid idea on the rules for increasing the height of the main keep, some camera angles being a bit... confusing and play balance in the campaign. These are some criticisms but not like the Devs have some $300 million budget to ensure the bicycle riding mission works perfectly. (wouldn't mind a reply function so you can actual study how the enemy is pathing their attacks. That would be nice.) Rounds consist of taking your new allotment of tiles and adding to your castle before pressing the 'fight' button. There are a few perks and abilities you can use to micro but most of it is auto-battler. Defeat round and back to build phase. Repeat till final wave. Tis Tower Defence. You know the basics :) Three game mods: Campaign is the sort where you take small missions, get loot for the tech tree and new tiles for the 'deck building' and repeat with slightly bigger missions until you unlock the final. I have finished this. Had fun, although while some of the early missions can be tricky due to the random nature of the 'deck', once I got past a few tech tree upgrades and unlocked a couple of the tiles I had no issues. Either I am secretly already an expert at this game (LOL) or I are on the wrong side of the challenge bell curve. Some of the campaign missions seem to end just as you are getting your castle looking awesome, so again play balance tweaking. There is an editor mode where you have complete freedom to build your own mission. Fully unlocked from the start. Dipped into that a bit but the quick look around seemed completely functional. Finally there is the Endless Mode. Not gotten that far with this as yet. Different from the campaign in that you fight a mission, gain reward coins and then use them to buy tiles for the next mission from a semi random market. So there you go. Build Towers. Defend. Repeat. Enjoy.
