A ton of fun! Ever since Nintendo took a nose dive I have been looking for fun monster tamers and this one really hits home. Excellent art and mechanics, interesting story, simple and easy traveling, and monsters on map! All for 1 GB? Awesome.
got introduced to this game by my boyfriend and I have to say it's really calming and I love how flexible the difficulty is for the game. my first beast was a candevil. I still have yet to collect the other 100+ beasts but I'll slowly get there!! also... shout out to clemence 😉

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.57/day in the week to Jul 22 → 2.75/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Definitely a must play. The combat is fun and making new builds is very in-depth. Art is nice, the limited 3D is very charming in this game. It is very clearly similar to pokemon, but it's also comparable to SMT/Persona: friendship mechanics, 8 moves total, passives. stat changes being temporary, etc. Definitely it's own thing though. The story is nice but sometimes it feels like its trying too hard to make sure you get what the writers were going for. Nuance is kinda not there for some storylines (Landkeepers) and some companions frequently state the obvious, for example:
The theme of fiction turning to reality is prevelant in the game, and many things hint to this. It's fantastic theming. However, Felix obviously states this in his 3 Heart event, after we see his creation come to life, and also in other plotlines depending on how the game is played (Viola comes to mind)
I do love this game and am writing this review before I completely finish it.
Based and trans
This was my very first purchase. It's fun for a while, you have to be dedicated to get to the end (I didn't). The amount of upgrading needed is a lot of grinding (maybe intended that way). The walking around is pleasant but to get up the land goes up in rigid tiers that you can't walk up. You have to find a staircase that is not in the visible map square you are in. So go left for two squares to get one level up, then go three squares to the right to get one more level up. And don't fall off. Getting around was too much of a chore, and there are ground buttons and hidden caves that don't make sense. Still fun though, probably disappointing for some because the flaws start showing further down the road than usual. Similar to feel good anime, the story is about friendship and "fighting" for the right thing. While playing this, I was reflecting on things like red flags, toxic positivity, bullying, narcissism, manipulation, competitiveness. The best way to live is to not compare yourself to others. The more you focus on your own self love, the less you find to hate in others.
It's okay. But exploring the surface is not interesting. Even when you meet the person or meet someone who challenges you, they talk about their world and you wish they could decorate their space to see vision. Other than it's okay. It feels their world need something. The underground train is bit interesting than surface
The concept of this game is great, but I found the implementation somewhat lacking. The in-game menu could do with some quality of life updates as it feels clunky and unintuitive. However, the biggest issue for me is the difficulty. I'm level 10, and level 1 enemies not only act before me, but do a decent amount of damage, resulting in a trip back to town to heal after 2 to 3 fights. It feels like the game is punishing for the sake of punishment. An unfortunate let down.
