Reviews

I recommend this game, but mostly if it's on sale. There are 4 cases to solve. The first 3 proceed in a pretty similar way to each other. There's the mind palace/deduction mechanism that's familiar from some of the older Sherlock Holmes games, and it's pretty well done. There are also some classic adventure type puzzles. Each chapter gets progressively more complex. The fourth chapter has a pretty different gameplay and I enjoyed it less. I didn't mind the Grand Reveal (tm) so much, it actually matched the feeling I got from solving the first three cases. But the gameplay seemed deliberately obfuscated and somewhat tedious. I used a walkthrough liberally in that chapter because it just wasn't very fun. The Grand Reveal (tm) seemed to be trying to make some philosophical points about the rest of the game, and I think some were interesting but some were kind of... unexplained. In terms of play time it's a little short. Every chapter is self-contained so you can pick it up and put it back down easily. So all in all, yes it's a pretty good game, but I would probably only recommend it if it's under $10.
A very good and funny detective pixel art game. You have to use your brain :) GREAT!
Loved the beautiful pixel art and the faithful recreation of Leipzig landmarks!! Occasionally, the logic is very game-y, but overall I enjoyed the puzzles, especially the deduction mechanic (which seems to be inspired by the Frogwares Sherlock Holmes games, if you like those). The German voice acting is generally alright but some characters have rather unfitting voices (e.g. a woman in her 50s with a VA who sounds much younger) though I'm not too mad since the game seems to be a small-scale production. The game is pretty short and sweet, so you should be able to finish it within one or two sessions. That being said, the last case takes a really weird turn that feels kind of disappointing, I'm not really sure why that decision was made? There's some other reviews that go into more (spoilery) detail so I'll leave it at that. tentative recommendation, I hope the dev keeps making stuff because the premise and art style of this game is really solid!
Very fun detective game. I enjoyed the German voice acting and the pixel art was beautiful. I am not sure how I feel about the last case, but I think this game is still good enough to enjoy.
I really enjoyed the historic references. Though I know the city of leipzig, I have no idea how it was at the game's time. Solving murder cases in the style of that era is quite interesting. I enjoyed the game very much for the setting and atmosphere and it's Sherlock Holmes-esque approach. Nice game :D
Challenging but fun puzzles, I enjoyed the game
pretty good old school point&click adventure. if you're into stuff like old sherlock holmes games you'll enjoy this one!
