Not necessarily a horrible game, but not a good one either. It's also definitely not worth the full price tag. It has an interesting concept where you play the monster, and it has some pretty vicious pixel art, but that's about it. The game is short, sitting at about 5 hours. Thorough those 5 hours you have to do lots of backtracking, especially if you want to grab all the upgrades. The icing of the cake is that there is no in-game map and the maps are convoluted.

I like it! It's the first game I play where you're playing the villain and not a hero... (though you could argue The Creature could potentially be tired of being experimented on, and did what it had to do to get its freedom, and maybe the scientists are the real villains). It has challenging moments, especially if you're like me and have poor memory (I got stuck in some areas because I couldn't remember where I was; the game has no map) but still keeps you engaged and makes you stop to think about how to use the different abilities/monster levels to your advantage. I got it at a discount and would recommend waiting until there's a sale, but if you have the money to spare go ahead and get it anyways! It's fun.
