About

Carnival Hunt is a 5v1 first-person asymmetrical horror game set within a twisted carnival world created by the Puppetmaster.
Five players become fragile wind-up Bunnies who must work together, complete objectives, and find a way to escape. One player becomes the Carnival Monster, hunting them before they can complete their performance.
Both sides depend on their wind-up charge to survive. Bunnies must manage limited keys and keep one another moving, while the Monster must capture Bunnies and consume their keys to remain active.
Every key makes noise. Every mistake can reveal your position. Every second brings the performance closer to its end.
Work together as a team of five wind-up Bunnies.
Complete objectives, explore the map, share resources, and coordinate your escape before the Carnival Monster finds you.
The Bunnies are not powerful fighters. Survival depends on teamwork, careful movement, resource management, and knowing when to hide.
A separated Bunny is an easy target.
Your wind-up charge gradually runs down throughout the match.
Use keys to keep yourself moving, wind up your teammates, and activate important mechanisms. Keys are limited, and using them creates noise that can reveal your location to the Monster.
Spend them carelessly, and your team may not have enough charge to escape.
Bunnies must keep one another moving.
Trust is a resource.
Groups of fallen Bunnies can be found throughout the carnival.
Hide among them and pretend to be one of the lifeless puppets when the Monster approaches.
The Monster can inspect the bodies one by one, but every search costs precious time and charge. Remain still, stay convincing, and hope the Monster chooses incorrectly.
Take control of the Carnival Monster and stop the Bunnies before they escape.
Track their movements, disrupt their objectives, separate the group, and consume their wind-up keys to extend your own charge.
Each Monster has unique abilities designed around hunting, deception, pressure, and control.
Predict where the Bunnies will go.
Punish their mistakes.
Break their coordination.
Every player experiences the hunt from a first-person perspective, limiting situational awareness and keeping danger just outside their field of view.
Use positional voice chat to communicate with your teammates, but be careful. The Monster may be listening.
Winding keys, activating mechanisms, moving through the environment, and communicating at the wrong moment can expose your position.
Sometimes silence is the safest strategy.

Explore procedurally arranged map layouts built from 32 modular rooms across several carnival themes. Routes, room connections, and the spaces you encounter can change from one match to the next.
Each hunt challenges the Bunnies to understand their surroundings, complete their objectives, and adapt before the Monster brings the performance to an end.
The Monster performs.
The Bunnies perform.
Even death has a role to play.
Customize your character and enter the carnival dressed to impress, intimidate, or deceive.
After all, every performer needs the right costume.
Wind your friends. Protect your keys. Listen carefully.
The carnival is waiting.

I wanted to love this game. A creepy abandoned carnival. Twisted circus horror. Wind-up Bunnies, an unhinged Magician stalking the midway, and now the Sisters creeping around with haunted mannequins and giant scissors. This should've easily been one of my favorite horror games. The look and feel absolutely carries Carnival Hunt. The art style is gorgeous. It's one of those games where I want to stop just to admire the environment because it's doing so much of the heavy lifting. The movement is surprisingly fun too. Flying around with ziplines, blasting yourself out of cannons, riding the Ferris Wheel, or desperately escaping on a unicycle gives the game a personality all its own. Learning the map and finding shortcuts is genuinely satisfying. There's also a surprising amount of depth. As a Bunny you're constantly rescuing teammates, deciding when to carry or drop items, listening for the Magician, and trying not to accidentally recharge him by getting caught at the wrong time. The Imposter mechanic creates some genuinely tense moments, and overall the gameplay ideas are solid. Unfortunately... I don't enjoy playing it. I felt this way during the demo, and after spending considerably more time with the full game, my opinion hasn't changed. The biggest problem is that the game never feels welcoming to new or average players. The maps are huge, the mechanics are layered, and you're expected to know routes, shortcuts, sound cues, Magician tricks, and objectives almost immediately. It often feels like you're expected to lose over and over until everything finally clicks. Maybe that's a skill issue on my part, but it's also why I don't see myself sticking with this game. Then there's the camping. This is what really kills the game for me. Too many Magicians don't need to chase you—they just control the areas you need to pass through. Instead of committing to a chase, they'll hold the routes between floors or other key choke points until someone is forced to make a move. Maybe it's an effective strategy, but I don't think it's a fun one. Instead of exciting cat-and-mouse chases, matches often slow to a crawl while everyone waits for the Magician to leave... and most of the time, they don't. Teamwork doesn't always help either. I'll risk everything to rescue teammates, only to watch them run off while I'm left to fend for myself. If I do get forced back to the first floor, most of the Bunnies have already been looted, leaving me with very little to recover with. Too often it feels like one mistake snowballs into a match that's almost impossible to come back from.

game would be fun if i could get to the 2nd floor without getting camped every way up there. its just a 1st floor simulator. honestly would just rather play DBD
Оптимизации нет. На бетке работало лучше. Баланса нет. Sisters unbalanced.
Absolutely miserable game to play, the devs have priotizied the crybaby survivor side and nerfed all the killers out of doing anything effective. So either you play bunny and abuse the hell out of the hunter along with griefing them unpunished in exchange for hour long queues or you play Hunter and never win. GG go next
Really liked the concept and really wanted to play it, but unfortunately, there are no Aussie/OCE servers. That, coupled with the fact that not many people seem to be playing it now, is really disappointing. It has a great concept and showed a lot of potential.
I absolutely adore the art style of this game, especially the early cinematics, and the idea behind the gameplay loop is amazing, and I want to be fully genuine when I say this: I want this game to succeed. I've been looking for a game like this for I can't even TELL you how long! It's the perfect niche for me, and I'm sure with additional people in a supporting dev team, and content down the road, it'd be the thing I come back to again and again and again! But as it stands, I just can't recommend the game, even with the new major update. The wibble wobble in balance between your first game as solo bunny, having to deal with a killer that's likely 15 or more levels ahead of you, and your first game as a Magician or Sister, with one or more bunny teams that are, again, likely 15 or more levels above you, is hair tearingly difficult to deal with. The game seems incredibly centered around the solo queue experience, with a wonderful ping system and about a baker's dozen different ways to defend yourself or distract to protect a teammate, but unfortunately, all it really does is expose the difficulty the Beer Night Studios seem to be having surrounding figuring out hunter balance. With an even slightly competent group of bunnies, there is little you can do as a newer hunter to grasp control of a match, which is, unfortunately, incredibly annoying and counterintuitive when you're meant to be the power role in this dynamic of cat and mouse (or, well, bunny and magician :P). Spreading out objectives and causing as many noise notifications to go off at the same time is really the main strategy here, attempting to waste hunter resources (or in the case of the magician, his cooldowns) as often as possible to reduce a chase to one of two things: a bunny finding the right kind of hidey hole that turns into an infinite loop, in the purest sense of the word, and the hunter having to leave that bunny be and attempt to find another area to patrol; or a bunny leading the hunter to multiple other bunnies, or in some cases just ONE more bunny, which, in turn, ends with the bunny escaping multiple grabs and strikers+ropes being completed across the map whilst you are in chase purgatory. The devs attempted to combat the second situation with a "Rage" mechanic, in which the hunter receives reduced stuns and faster recovery if stunned multiple times in quick succession, however, a large portion of the issue (the fireworks and smoke bombs that were being utilized causing massive frame drops and packet loss) was unaddressed, and that seems to be a common theme with this game's balancing philosophy. We, as Magician and now Sisters players, have multiple times thus far gotten backhanded or unintentionally unhelpful balance changes in response to complaints concerning balance, and when faced with criticisms, have responded with administrative action (a la permanent bans in-game, even for things entirely unrelated to conduct in the game itself and in their discord server) or flat out retaliatory-reading patch notes (a la Sisters being nerfed three patches in a row following an uptick in complaints that her powers were "unfair and too powerful".). Then, AGAIN, when asked or confronted with these seemingly angry or retaliatory slights against their own players, refuse to admit any sort of fault, instead opting to shift the blame as hard as possible and deny, deceive, deny. Apologies for the rant, but I truly, truly wish for this game to do well, and while it may seem like doom and gloom, Beer Night, you HAVE to understand: these are things that CAN be fixed and worked on, there is no such thing as a perfect dev team or a perfect community or a perfect game even. And I understand it may be overwhelming the amount of negative feedback being constantly poured into the discord and social medias. But at the end of the day, there's a reason for it all. You can admit you made bad choices and continue to work towards building a better community connection, it won't hurt you.
Gameplay is laggy 80% of the time. For those who says the hunter is weak and need further buffing are just living a OP main character fantasy. If you dont have 5 people for SWF, dont bother. Don't ever trust public to be helping you escape even when you take the fall for them, because who tf wants to even take the chance at restart back at level 1 after using a full 15mins to get up to level 4. Game teaches you to use teammates as bait. Do objective while your teammate is getting chased by the hunter, rinse and repeat all the way till you get to level 4, just be the snake and pray and hope the one getting chased is not you. You can even enter a game where everyone stays silent until one bunny gets chased by the hunter and then all the loud objective suddenly happens. Dont tell me this is a 5V1 when in fact the one the reachest the top floor always escapes on his own while praying his "teammates" are the livebait keeping the hunter at another floor. Just watch any video of hunter and you know how easy is for hunters to wipe out the so called "5v1" on random matches. Oh and trust me, 80% of the matches is in fact a 3V2 because 1dc instantly and the other just gets jailed. " The people recommending you to play are just hunter mains looking to find public matches to feed on you.
