Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 13 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

How does the same team that made Chocolate Factory which was a brilliant simulator that I gladly dump countless hours in, make this garbage? It's not anywhere near the level I was expecting. It's 100% point and click. Extremely boring. It feels like it was given up on half way through development. The graphics are terrible. It's nowhere near optimized. I've played mobile games that look better. It's beyond disappointing. The sad thing is we know they could do better but chose not to.
Note globale : 8/20 --------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!
In Candy Shop Simulator, you manage a pastry and candy shop, which you create yourself, sell products from, and expand your store! Review made on Twitch: https://www.twitch.tv/hyrroh
Pros:
- Very colorful art style, fitting the spirit of the game. - Customization options, whether for cakes/candies or even the shop itself, which you can build however you want.
Cons:
- The interface is quite terrible — images act as buttons but without selection animations? (whether in construction menus or when buying at the supermarket, it doesn’t feel like anything is actually being selected!) - Lack of animations during preparation; for example, we make the mixer turn but can’t even see it in action. - A lively city but… lacking in interest. You are sent to collect “paws” (JDG reference) around the city, but there’s nothing to actually do there! - The game works differently from other simulation games: instead of a day lasting about 20 minutes, you stay in the same day and everything happens in real time. I don’t like this concept — it feels like being in a “Groundhog Day.”
Areas for improvement:
- Completely redesign the interface — it could be much better. - More animations for tasks. - Give the city more purpose? Because it feels like all the budget was spent on its concept while forgetting everything else. Total disappointment!!! I’m quite blunt here, but honestly, I expected much more! Hopefully they’ll really do something about it, because the game has good potential but is currently very poorly used. Overall score: 8/20

While it's not perfect, there's a good foundation here! I dove in without a Tutorial, meaning I didn't have guidance for most things - however, even in that case, I was able to figure out most of the mechanics rather easily, which is a good bonus. The gameplay loop isn't too bad, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn't entirely stuck having to spam create cakes/cookies/lollipops, and could do so at my leisure. Once I hired a cashier, things went even more smoothly. The persuasion minigame is pretty fun, although I'll admit, very simple. Perhaps tweaking things a bit to make it more complex later on (without just reducing the timer) would improve things. I couldn't find a few ingredients, I assume I'd unlock them later, but with the little bit of gameplay I did, I enjoyed myself. Sure there are a few tweaks I'd like to see; maybe some sort of goal system that could either get a bonus, or perhaps a boost in your shop's prestige, collision with NPCs (which could add for some humourous situations while doing bike deliveries), and a proper day and night cycle (as it seemed like I was just consistently on one day?) would all benefit the game greatly. Giving a recommendation to check it out, although perhaps picking it up on sale would be the call if you're unsure. As it stands right now, I think the price is teetering on the edge of fairness. Some more content would definitely push it towards "worth it".
The game is great only bad side to the game is it crashes either your game or your whole PC after 3 hours.
Not worth it.
Ellietendo's Review Of Candy Shop Simulator
I received a free copy of this game for review purposes. I used a mouse & keyboard combo for gameplay.
Pros:

Fun Idea – The idea of running a Candy/Cake Shop is a really cool concept and one that works really well in the current “simulator” market. The fact that you can essentially build your own shop however you want, is always an incising theme to any gamer wanting to get the “Simulation” fix.
Customization – Of course with these types of games, the customization is a fundamental element of “Candy Shop Simulator”. Being a creative individual definitely helps when it comes to making the cakes and other items. Following the recipe is needed to make the base, the decoration is the part where you can go wild and that’s the element that’s got me hooked!

Cons:

Dropping Frames - Consistent frames is one of the most important things in a game. So when I see it frequently drops, that is concerning to me. Fortunately, this issue seems to happen only when loading in and out of places. When playing through the main game, it is not an issue.
Can Crash When Loading - It is particularly worrying when the game freezes and shows the games “exe” has stopped working. Thought the game was going to do a full crash. Fortunately, it seems to only show when the game is loading in from the menu, once the game has fully loaded, everything runs like normal.

Overall:
Whilst I do enjoy this game with its infinite possibilities of customizing cakes and desserts with the general fun theme of running a shop, there are a few things which could definitely be improved upon. It’s a good attempt at the “Simulator” genre. It's hard to Recommend “Candy Shop Simulator”. There are currently other ‘Simulator’ games that I would suggest first before this one, but I would still mention it to those who are into baking, candy and other relevant themes. Just be very mindful of the occasional graphic issues and also the price tag before buying this game!
Rating positive despite issues because they rolled first QOL update fairly quickly. Hope this is not the end of updates edit: no more updates, all other games from this dev are also slops, glad I only bought one
