Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 6 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Sorry to say, but I don't think it is fun. You are not "making sushi". There is no cooking. The food literally comes out of a machine on a conveyor belt and you just serve it to the customer 3 meters away. What's the point? Your role is just squeezed in. Why even take orders? You know there are actual sushi restaurants where the guests just take what they want. If it was more complex than you would have a purpose. The fact that it's sushi or that you are a robot is incidental and interchangable. And the upgrade system makes no sense. When you add more ingridients to something, it changes the recipe, not get better. And you are not making friends from what I can tell. There are contacts that involve themselves into your business, which is pretty much completely premade. The guests have no names and say the same stuff over and over. It may look nice, but it feels very empty and uninspired.
The game has an alright story, but the game play itself quickly gets boring and repetitive. If you don't mind standard management games, it's OK, but if you're looking for a slightly more in-depth cooking game, I don't recommend it. Also, I don't think it's worth the price for what it is.

Despite not playing the game for long, I would give Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends a positive review. However as I say this, I would not recommend it for most adult gamers but rather a specific demographic - kids / adults who enjoy extremely simple and repetitve games. I can see this game as a game I would install on my child's console but I wouldn't enjoy it for my own gaming. In Rolling Hills, don't be deceived by the fact that you're a sushi robot, you DO NOT ASSEMBLE ANY SUSHI AT ALL. While, I was okay with that mechanic, I do see people thinking it's a sushi making game and getting disappointed by the fact it's more of a serving simulator xD Rather, in this game, the closest thing you do to cooking is just turning on the conveyor and plates of sushi will spawn out onto the restaurant's conveyor belt. There are several familiar game mechanics in the game: such as building social relationships, XP and levelling up, interacting with NPCs and maps etc but most of these are not developed in a complex way. Most of the mechanics are super straightforward and simple and doesn't take much brainpower to understand and learn how it works. Personally, I do not enjoy difficult games but this was way too simple (plus there was a lot of repetitive grinding for progression) for me to enjoy, there was no satisfaction from understanding or learning mechanics, it all just felt boring (It reminded me of Purple Place in that sense). On the plus side, the controls felt super good on the steam deck, I didn't encounter any issues with scaling and accessibility while playing it on the Deck. Art is super cute as well. While this wasn't a game for me, the game itself is decently made and at least felt complete while it could still be more developed.
★★★★★ 5/5 – Finished the game AND all achievements in 2 days. That says enough. Not gonna lie, Rolling Hills: Make Sushi, Make Friends was addictive. I reached the end game and completed all the achievements within 2 days because I just kept telling myself, "Okay, one more day..." It reminds me a lot of the Diner Dash-type games I used to play when I was younger, so there was definitely a bit of nostalgia there. Serve customers, get faster, upgrade things, improve the restaurant, repeat. Simple formula, but apparently extremely effective on me. I played entirely without a controller because I'm a PC person through and through. Give me WASD and I'll navigate much faster than I ever could with a controller. And the perks in this game are actually PERKING. The dash and speed boosts especially made such a difference once I unlocked them. By the later parts of the game, I was basically zooming around the restaurant serving everyone. Also, THANK YOU for letting us pause during opening hours. Seriously. Being able to stop for a moment instead of having customers continue waiting while I needed to do something IRL helped me so much. The whole game is just delightful. The art style is cute, the little robot is adorable, the food actually looks really good, and I loved that we could decorate and customize the restaurant too. It made progressing feel even more rewarding because I wasn't only upgrading my abilities—I was slowly making the restaurant look the way I wanted as well. It's not an extremely long game, considering I managed to finish everything in two days, but those two days were VERY well spent. Cute. Cozy. Addictive. Easy to pick up. Satisfying to complete. And most importantly, it scratched that old-school restaurant-management itch perfectly.
it's cute, little relaxing game that I enjoyed. I do have to admit the gameplay did get stale after a bit and I never finished it.
Mostly fun, very colorful and pretty easy-going. Unfortunately, pacing will slow down in the later part of the game and the core mechanic of serving sushi wanes in excitement to feel repetitive and a grind just to allow continuation of the story. Fortunately, it is not very long so if you stick with it you'll get to see the entire silly story and completed all achievements.
i have 100% played through this game twice; once on xbox and now on pc. and i gotta say, this is one of the greatest cozy games ever made. the story is chill and heartwarming, the characters all have such fun personalities, and the game play is very nice. one tiny gripe i do have is that the gameplay can get a teeny tiny bit repetative, especially towards the end. i love the way you can level up your recipies with ingredients, and i love all of the little decorations and furniture you can buy. everyone should play this game, and def go get some sushi to eat afterwards.
It was slow at first, but it really picks up as the game progresses. It's a cute, little, stimmy game loop of checking in with each section of the overworld and serving customers sushi. The characters are pleasant, and its fun to watch them grow. The pacing of the story is good. It's a fun little game.
It's a fun and relaxing little game. 🥰 It's interesting to collect different recipes and hats for cute robot. But after a period of time, it may be a bit repetitive to do the serving at the restaurant. Overall is still a nice game, but hope there could be more characters and storyline in Rolling Hills.
