Camper Van: Make it Home

Super cute & incredibly cozy! I was drawn in by the soft pastel graphics and the promise to decorate a camper van, and this game didn't disappoint. It's all focused on designing your van (which you can do several times as it upgrades) and putting away items. There's no right or wrong way to decorate. If you don't like an item, you can just place it in open world and it'll still count- I liked taking screenshots of my progress so I admittedly did this a few times. The addition of a pet halfway through your journey was such a sweet touch, too. I loved the creativity of the achievements, too. I definitely see myself revisiting this game in free decorate mode later. Absolutely beautiful work!

Camper Van is SO relaxing, calm, cozy & cute. The most aesthetically pleasing game I've ever played! I absolutely ADORE the soft pastel aesthetic. I can't emphasize enough how gorgeous this game is. I took sooo many beautiful screenshots. 🌸 I enjoyed decorating the van to my liking and placing objects in visually pleasing ways. I'm glad the placement is flexible. It's satisfying & fun organizing when you get into a good flow. I like that you get to decorate multiple different vans and your layout & order often carry over into the next stage! The pets are adorable! I wish you could interact with them more. Finishing a single stage can take longer than expected, but the game autosaves, so you can leave any time (from the menu to be safe). The underlying story is surprisingly emotional, heartwarming and healing. Some small frustrations: The start was a little confusing, as there weren't any instructions other than movement controls. That said, the controls are very unintuitive & frustrating, which makes it hard to get into a good flow. You can't stack everything you'd want to or place certain items in certain spots. There are some unaesthetic items I tried to hide in the back of closets, but I wish I could just store them elsewhere or switch the colors. I guess I could hide them behind some rock outside lol. But I don't want to ruin the scenery either. You can't select a level (until finishing the story mode?). There were some items I noticed I could pick up, but only found out later how. Some of the achievements have specific requirements, so I'll have to go through some levels later to complete them. The photo settings don't get saved. You have to readjust them in every level, which is a little frustrating. The automatic setting is too blurry. For the most part the scenery is stunning. However, the graphics are not entirely as satisfying as you'd think; for example, some trees & plants look unfinished and unrealistic. The area you can roam and decorate outside is also very limited. I wish there were more options for the van furnishings as well, especially beds and lilac tones. As a heads-up, you can get motion sickness from playing long sessions (if you're prone to it). I had to take some breaks because of it. Taking my time decorating, taking pictures & leaving the game on at times to grab a bite, I already have almost 10 hours on this game and I haven't even finished the story yet. Sometimes items don't fit anywhere and you have to reorganize, which takes time too. For a game this gorgeous, I don't mind the extra time. Jogo perfeito, tão bonitinho, ia reclamar só que tem espaço demais pra coisa de menos mas o modo criativo arruma isso. A história também é contada de forma simples mas encantadora, testemunha de que menos é mais. Amei.

very cute, love the colors, style, and music. controls are hard to get a grasp of. I wish there were more customization options, customization feels very limited.
