Call to Arms - Gates of Hell is a realistic RTS/ RTT game that offers endless replay value. Command all types of troops in historical singleplayer, dynamic campaign, PvP and PvE battles. Are you ready for some serious immersion in World War 2?

Even with full overhaul mods - with exception of the zombie one - this game still blows. Unfortunate.

Simply the best World War 2 game.
its amazing it even made me lose track of the time haha
Only some singleplayer missions are going to be fun for you and singleplayer skirmishes can not be saved at all. What is the point of defense structures if you can't save a game. Sure you can play long games (only possible with mods) if you got a lot of time in a day but then the game crashes at some point. This game just fails defensive singleplayers in my opinion. Please add a saving option.
Crazy fun. The closest thing to a Single Player War Thunder / World of Tanks. The level of interactivity is ridiculously deep. Go into 1st person view, manually fight in your tank, manually target enemy subsystems, disable enemy tank tracks, engine, or cannon, etc. Or if you prefer - fight RTS style, order your group of tanks to attack an area and they'll move and shoot on their own. Call in air support, manually manage artillery pieces, sneak up with infantry and track vehicles with AT grenades. Smoke cover. Rocket weapons. Flamethrowers. Stealth missions. Historically accurate ammo types that you manage in each vehicle. Bring AA to shoot down enemy CAS - or shred infantry. Full inventory control between vehicles and infantry. You can salvage and use enemy vehicles. Back against the wall? Turn the tables by repairing that disabled Tiger. Your infantry feeling weak? Pick up an mg42 from a broken halftrack. Your T34 ran out of gas? Dismount your driver, grab a jerry can, and siphon fuel from a knocked out tank. In the Dynamic Campaign mode, you manage units that perist between battles (if they survive), repair damaged vehicles, gain XP for your crews (or replace the dead with inexperienced recruits), progress through a research tree, choose what battle you want to fight next. It all costs you something, so it pays to preserve vehicles and crews, and pays even more to salvage enemy equipment. The micromanagement can be a bit overwhelwhelming at first, but training scenarios do a good job of introducing all the complexity. Highly recommended. The DLCs can be pricey, so grab them on sale. Base game comes with USSR + German armies. I have the American DLC and it was worth it.
Probably the best RTS game in this genre with mods. mowas2 still has a certain charm that is irreplaceable and i keep going back for that but this game is by far more modern with more potential in mods and better graphics.
Best game on earth.
