I honestly don’t understand how I didn’t discover this game sooner. Call to Arms is better than Company of Heroes in pretty much every way for me. The combat feels more realistic, the vehicles are much more detailed, infantry actually feels like infantry, and the amount of control you have over your units is on another level. The whole game just feels more immersive and tactical. I love that you can directly control soldiers, vehicles, use different weapons, take cover, destroy buildings and actually feel like you’re on the battlefield rather than just managing units from above. Company of Heroes is a great game, but after playing Call to Arms, it feels much more arcade-like in comparison. My only complaint is that I wish I had found this game years ago. 😂 Seriously, if you like Company of Heroes, Men of War or realistic RTS games, give this a try. I’ve been missing out big time.
