The best-selling first-person action series of all-time returns with an epic sequel to the multiple GOTY award winner Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® 2
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Sep 3 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Esse vale muito apena.
A timeless classic you wont be disappointed definitely better than its reboot counter part when call of duty had much to offer.

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (No, the Other one) is like one of those alternate history war novels you bought for 3 dollars at a used book store. Except it’s written by Ian Slater instead of Tom Clancy. Play AS Frost of Delta Force’s Team Metal and attempt to dislodge the Russians from New York and push them off the continent. Play AS Yuri working with the Disavowed Task Force 141 as they try to hunt down Makarov and put a bullet in him before he starts a political podcast with a bunch of youtubers. Also, Soap is still dying from the last game, should probably do something about that. Its actually kind of a whip lashing going from the newer, 2019 and onward Modern Warfare games to this. Call of Duty has always gotten a bad rep, its had its detractors since around World at War or so, but its never been as bad as it is these days. So I decided to go back and play all of the 00s and 10s COD games (except for Black Ops 1 and 2 because those weren’t on sale) and so far its been kind of a trip. Mind you, this is just for the single player portion of the game, I’ve heard enough things about what goes on in current-day classic COD multiplayer so I’m just not going to touch it. You’re not getting MY monster girl porn, hackers. It doesn’t really do all that much different from Modern Warfare 2, actually. Most of the animations are the same, and a lot of the guns are a carry over, which is to be expected for Call of Duty. I honestly can’t imagine buying these games every single year, but as 30 dollar games you’d find at a Gamestop? Yeah its pretty alright. All the weapons are punchy and MEAN sounding, the M4a1 especially sounds like some kind of Dead space weapon with how loud it fires. The Time to kill on whatever you’re shooting at is short so you can just mow down enemies as they come in. Call of Duty has always been a game about dealing with tons of enemies at the same time, and in that category, the game does a good job. I honestly like how serious the game takes itself, its refreshing to go back to the Michael Bay era of Call of Duty compared to the more, weird, super hero movie dialogue of the newer games. Everything is voiced rather well and I don’t think there wasn’t a single voice actor giving it their all. Its fun hearing Ben 10 not only yell in German, but in French as well this time around. Modern Warfare 3’s plot is also ridiculous, both about pushing the Russians out of mainlaind US as well as hunting down Makarov in Europe. The Russian Army basically invaded every country in Europe while Task Force 141 and Makarov’s Ultranationalists do a G.I. Joe vs Cobra dance in Western Europe and Africa. Czech Resistance fighters charging down tank formations, historic cities being absolutely leveled, New York being the Russian Army’s final stand, I love it. The campaign isn’t as good as MW2’s campaign, especially the Ranger Missions where you kill other human beings over a burger joint, but it was still a fun time. But you could honestly tell they were running out of steam at this point, nothing hits as hard as an Army guy holding up those green flares to call off a bombing run of Washington DC, or “WOLVERINES!” as a whole. Feels like they just wanted to wrap things up and get it out of the way for the next game. This is basically the last “”Conventional”” Call of Duty game from this time period, going way more experimental after this. So next time we’re going to go fight Largentina. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets 7 shooty gun segments out of 10. Walrus Skin can look pink underneath sunlight. Really great game. It took 7.7 hours to finish it (I think, I'll get to this later.) overall it was easy for me (I played on the lowest diff as a new player to it) the last mission was the most difficult I'd say. Okay. here's why I don't think I finished it. I killed Makarov and then after the credits it say to go to special ops, I went there to go back to the main menu but currently it says "50%" on the campaign. Shouldn't be 100%? I'm confused. If anyone else has it at 100% after killing him then please let me know. Overall, 10/10 game.
