Now this is probably the most I've played the multiplayer in a COD game.Why you may ask? Well it's because,unlike future installments where there are thousands of weapons/attachments and equipment to unlock and even more stuff to figure out how it works,Black Ops offers a cleaner,much more simpler approach. You got 5 classes to customise and choose from with an additional five that you can get once you prestige,you may have up to 2 attachments on a gun (with the coresponding perk) and a handful of weapons to choose from from each category (shotguns,ARs,SMGs,LMGs,snipers and secondaries).There's also three perks per class,each with their own unique abilities/characteristics and equipment such as lethal/tactical and special like C4,claymores,etc.It's very straightforward and easy to understand for everyone,especially people like me who barely play MP and want to have a good time with it. Regarding the maps however,they do tend to favor,as I've heard many people say,campers and there's a ♥♥♥♥ ton of them on almost every single damn map.Maybe a little less on smaller ones,but on things like Jungle and Havana,it's campers gallore.Cheaters aren't as present here,I don't think I've seen even one in my time playing the game,but there's an awful amount of toxic mfs and sweats playing since 2010 probably. Most of the modes are dead,except TDM,Search and Destroy and Capture the Flag,but honestly I don't think I'm missing on much.I'm still to check out the DLC maps,but from what I'm gathering they're pretty dead so... To wrap it all up,the MP is satisfying,the TTK is fair,the maps/guns are iconic.There's also the usual overpowered/broken guns that everybody seems to use like the FAMAS,Galil,SPAS and AK74U,but that's fine.Don't know much about the so-called security issues everyone seems to be talking about in these older CODS,but I haven't noticed a damn thing so if you wanna hop on and experience this awesome multiplayer once again,you're sure to find a match no problem.
