Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.14/day in the week to Sep 3 → 8.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
Not a bad game but I was definitely expecting more since it's meant to be a classic. Worth a few quid on sale I guess.
its grate for how old it is def worth the 20$ it is would recomend. Also run quite well on lowend laptops like mine.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Отличная игра больше пока что нечего сказать
It's an amazing single player campaign that everybody has praised a thousand times before, just stay away from the multiplayer and you're good. Though I have one massive complaint I need to leverage. Any game that uses UNLIMITED SPAWNS gets a zero out of ten on the realism scale. More specifically, what makes the campaign painful (especially on Veteran) is that you don't win by destroying the enemy. You win by gaining ground. And the problem with that is that the enemies keep spawning, and in some very specific spots will nail you from 3 or 5 different angles plus 2 grenades in your area. Top that off with being "realistically fragile" and you have a recipe for pain. (At least there's a mod that SORT OF fixes the achievements, even gives that classic XBox 360 sound effect, too.) Smart combat says you're supposed to annihilate your enemies, THEN push up. But that's impossible with literally unlimited spawning, meaning if you take that approach you'll burn through all your ammo, get a few dozen kills, then you'll be stuck (unless you get picked off much sooner). You can more easily see this when friendlies do their unlimited spawning, holding Control to watch the square map and the green arrows will magically appear out of nothingness. And don't give me that "Well real warfare IS dumb" bull crap. You know that's a politically slanted lie spouted by neutered crybabies. It's an idea that needs to die forever. The whole food chain is all about eat or be eaten, kill or be killed...this is simply a more metaphorical manifestation of that competition to dominate the animal kingdom. Anyway, I don't have anything to add that someone else hasn't already said, just that this is one of the 3 core games to inspire the whole "Hero Team" franchise. Which is fun when you think about it, the whole "Heroic Timeline" canonically diverges from our "Real Timeline" in 2010, this game came out in 2007, so Call of Duty 4 is absolutely a thing in their universe. Semper Bellum!
Bought and played through the campaign for Nostalgia, and it still holds up in 2026! Gameplay is smooth on modern specs, and while the graphics are clearly 20 years old it wasn't too much of a drawback. Never played on PC before, and liked the added mechanisms (such as leaning) that wasn't present on the old console version. Very expensive, even on the current discount, for a 20 year old game.
