Multiplayer Is Nearly Unplayable My brother and I bought Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop along with the Season Pass and several DLC packs while they were on sale. Even at the discounted price, the multiplayer experience has been extremely disappointing. I have mainly played as the second player rather than the host, and the desync is awful. Steering feels jerky and blocky, NPCs regularly freeze or get stuck, and passengers sometimes stand in the aisle instead of sitting down, preventing other passengers from boarding. Working as a ticket inspector is almost impossible. The desync constantly throws you around inside the moving bus, and I have even glitched through the wall and ended up on the road. The safest option is simply to remain seated, which defeats the purpose of the feature. The route planner is also frustrating. You choose the stops, but the game decides which roads the bus uses between them. This often creates awkward turns, routes that double back on themselves and unnecessary overlaps. The only way to guide the route properly is by adding extra stops, which then leaves you with an overly long route. The game also sometimes claims that I skipped a stop even though I stopped there and allowed passengers on and off, damaging the route rating for no clear reason. The paid buses and DLC are not much better. Some buses have missing or broken-looking interior textures, and the school buses are terribly optimised. In cockpit view, my frame rate can drop to around 20 FPS, while third-person immediately returns it to around 100 FPS. I understand that this is now an older game, but that should mean it is finished and stable. Instead, it feels as though major multiplayer bugs and performance problems were simply left behind while more paid DLC was released. There is a good game buried underneath all of this, but the multiplayer desync, broken passenger behaviour, restrictive route planner and poorly optimised DLC ruin the experience. After playing this, I would be very hesitant to pay full price for another game from the same developer. I cannot recommend Bus Simulator 21 Next Stop for multiplayer.

Alles all in all passt perfekt und qualität ist auch sehr geil.
A bit of a learning curve over '18, particularly the routing and management, but after I got used to it in about 90 minutes, I think it's a much better game than '18 was. Things I don't like about '21: the pedestrians are wild. There could be pedestrians not even near a crosswalk, but as I'm driving through, a pedestrian darts out into the side of my bus, and I get fined and reset. Better map for sure, and the missions strike a good balance.
