Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 11 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
In a universe where life’s moments are extracted from mortals and transformed into sentient books for consumption by higher beings, a lowly librarian and a book without a moment of its own are coerced into solving the mystery of a missing God.
BURDEN STREET STATION is a narrative adventure about dead-end platforms and unfinished stories. Which version of yourself will help make sense of someone else’s pain?
Change yourself to change others. Traits are emotional prosthetics. Each one calibrates how the world responds to you and what it believes you deserve.
Words dig deeper than they should. Speak kindly, and they open up. Speak incorrectly and something breaks. Sometimes they flinch. Sometimes they remember what it felt like to be whole. And you wonder why you feel it too.
Lotown, Pipelines, Hitown - each area a dream in slow decay, its artist missing. Every place a memory dreamt by someone else. And yet… you’ve definitely been here before.
Memo will just about tolerate you - so long as you help her finally gain her story.
Creation is messy. Closure is divine. You are a bridge between godhood and regret, not just shaping conversations, but carrying something left behind. Something that still wants to be understood.

I played this expecting it to just be a cool, surreal indie game, and it turned out to be so much more. The first chapter practically brought me to tears with how great it was and how much I resonated with it in a way I never expected. The other two chapters weren't as impactful, but there's no shame in only being *almost* perfect. This game has some of the best character writing I've ever experienced, not just in gaming, but in media in general. I love it. The graphics are also perfect for what this game is going for. The characters are all visually distinct in a way that flawlessly complements their personalities, and while the locations are a bit difficult to navigate at times, it works because of the hazy, surreal ambiance the game has, and the fact that you're a newcomer to this environment means that the confusion over where to go feels naturalistic, and the worlds are never so big that you'll get lost in them. The mechanics are really interesting and compelling, and I love the idea that you're collecting personality traits as your tools of choice, since you're basically a blank slate and it works towards a clear message of empathy and understanding that the game conveys wonderfully. If I had one minor gripe, it's that, since I was playing with a controller, it was a bit awkward to move the camera since it doesn't have the option to invert your Y-axis controls. Still, it's a minor thing, and here's hoping it gets a patch soon. All I can say about this game is: play it. Please. Don't look up anything about it beforehand, and I promise you won't regret it.
8/10 experience if you are a fan of weird little indie games that are not really about anything
Short narrative driven decision making game with and wacky visual style adding immensely to the characters with exaggerated animations and expressions to explore various emotions. You work to resolve conflicts in the story and bring resolutions to the grounded cast of characters you encounter through each area, real gem of a story game that needs more attention. The characters are so full of life and there is immediate satisfaction in each character you bring peace of mind to.
It's a simple, quite short game with cool characters, well writen story, great atmosphere and amazing OST. Just buy it and take a dive in this abstract universe, you won't regret it.
